| DarkPhoenix | Why does a level get 0 lightning just because there was none? Just because there are no lighting effects doesnt mean it deserves a 0! You said yourself it doesn't need lighting, Well if it doesnt need lightng then i think it should get maybe a 50 or something. |
| NorthChaos | ...Because lighting is a big part of the lvl. If there's none, it's 0. The thing is, tat great levels wil lget great points, and not so good will get not-so-good points as in general. |
| Moonraker | Yes, if a level doesn't have any lighting why should it get a 50? 0 lighting = 0 points. It's not that hard of a concept. I can't rate a level about lighting without lighting. |
| Kevinator | You should give the lighting an N/A rating and simply not average the lighting score in. A low lighting score is for [i][b]bad lighting[/b][/i], not missing lighting... |
| ThreeDee | I agree. A level should only get 0 for lighting if there WAS lighting, but it was done REALLY REALLY REALLY badly. If there was no lighting whatsoever, I think it should hurt the overall score a bit, but it certainly shouldn't get 0. How about it gets the average of the other scores, minus 10 or something? |
| Dark Phoenix | 50 is a bit too much but it definatly should not get a 0, Its important to have appropriate lighting;the word here is APPROPRIATE, appropriate lighting for the level might mean it has no extra lighting in it at all. |
| SL_Ki-Adi Mundi | If a level has no lighting what-so-ever, (think about this now, NO LIGHTING) wouldnt the level be completely dark? I agree with Kevinator, I believe the N/A would be better than a complete 0.

I just looked at the JHS review. It had no special lightning effects just like this one and it got a 70 on lighting. Is it just me or is there a big difference between 70 and 0 |

| Lightside | Ace, the score was low, because of architexture, texturing, and lighting. That is what hurt it. Playability excelled in this level. That is what mainly made it up. Ahh..kinda reminds me of Skydive. *shudders* Man, I sucked back then.
Looks cool to me though :) And team-based games are my FAVORITE. I also wish teams would come back. *sigh* |
