JasonSorry I haven't been around lately to review.

Brian, something is wrong with the picture script I think because it is trying to put the full in the thumbnail and the thumbnail in the full, hence the reason the pics aren't working.
Jasonwait... that's not the reason for the broken pic links... I wonder what is.
MasqThe round platforms that look similar to those in Valley of the Jedi Tower look similar because they ARE from that level... It's a 3do, the name of which evades me right now..
JennyI can't beleive this got nearly 50%. There are no two ways about it, it SUCKS! It's just a box with 3dos in!
Jenny"This author, if he works hard, should become one of the top authors out in the JK community."

Errr, Jason. Is this the first level you have ever played?

To Massassi: Either fire this reviewer or put him on a crash course in Jedi Knight basics!
jturcioOuch Jenny. :) Jason you did notice that I called the review for this level on the reviewer's forum. You should always check there before reviewing anything. I personally would have given this level a 5. It was a box that was resized and then the bottom exturded a few times. The author din't even merge the sectors that he extruded, which would have easily corrected the problem with the texture misalighments. I have to give the author some credit for the ingenious way he/she used the 3dos. However since no physical architecture was present, and the 3dos had nothing in common with the way sim_bleak used 3dos (he created his own), I'd give architecture on this level a 0.
Dark LukeWell... This level is my second level ever made. It's so crappy that I can finish the entire level in just 2 hours. And I had expected to have a review score around 1-20.
Hunter TamariaWouldn't it make more sense instead of rushing to create a level to slow down and analize what your doing? That way you can create levels far more appealing to both the players and reviewers. Sometimes all it takes is just forward planning.
jturcioI'll agree the review was very unfair. (See my previous comment.) Also a note for many new authors should be to design what you want on paper first, then try and do it in jed. Also the rule of thumb is never to release your first levels. Also, you shouldn't release a level until you are satisfied with your work as well.
JasonSorry but I haven't gotten access to the reviewer forum yet. Again, really really sorry.
JasonJeez people, you either say that the review is either to harsh or too nice. Come on. I was trying to be nice due to the fact that this was the authors second level. I try to be nice and this is what I get for it. I guess I will just go for my gut feeling from now on and not care about whether it is in other peoples eyes too nice or too harsh.
JasonI took to the reasoning that jturcio had, I was unfair in this review. I was too nice and treated him better than I would treat other people. The review has been edited to be more fair. Sorry for kinda blowing up there, lots of stress these days with the end of course tests in school coming up.
JennyThankyou! Texturing is still a little high, yet it is much better.
LocariusI find that most of the levels recieve either a very high rating (90+) or a very low rating (0-30). This can't be fair in any way. I wonder why? Oh well.
BrianActually, that's probably because most of the recent levels either suck or are good. Also, a lot of the reviewers are tired of writing negative reviews, so they go back and review levels that they know are good...

I don't think it has anything to do with "fairness" - If it was up to us, all the reviews would be GOOD reviews, but we have to have GOOD levels in order to give GOOD reviews.
PosseBingo. Jk's been around for a while now, and the groups are obvious. You got your old timers who have had jed for a good year or more now, and you got your zoners who are sick of playing and want to edit. The old timers who have been editing for a while now do nothing but make good levels (and work on never to be finished tc's) while the newbie editors make bad levels and probably always will (it's hard to just jump in to editing... takes a while before the stuff catches on.. and obiwan will be here fairly soon... so..)
