Myrkr Facility + Control Room
Author: [dollardollar] Reviewer: [Brian]
Aesthetics:
This gob actually contains two levels. I would review them seperately, but the fact is that they're very similar. They are both full if square sectors connected by rectangular hallways. There's really nothing new or interesting in these levels. Both feel like you're running around in a bunch of sectors - there's no real "theme" or "feel" that can be identified with.
Gameplay:
If you want to feel like you're playing in a bunch of square sectors, have at it. Personally, I prefer levels with a theme or at least some type of interesting element. Both of these levels are littered with elevators and doors that result in extremely laggy gameplay. There are long, small, rectangular hallways that don't facilitate a good MP game. Finally, although the levels are a pack, you can't transition between them in game. This is because the author didn't set the gob up correctly. If you hit the score or time limit, you will be booted to the credits.
Final Comments:
Move along, move along, there's nothing to see here. I hate saying that, but it's true.
