Factory
Author: [Cowboy] Reviewer: [Moonraker]
Aesthetics:
This isn't the level's strong point. It's plain, dull and repetitive. The architecture isn't anything special, some boxes, doors, and rooms. The texturing was done very poorly, gray walls everywhere and control rooms filled with control panels all over the walls. The level was pretty much fully lit but lighting wouldn't have done much to the level anyway. It is much to small to be called a factory, especially a factory that makes AT-ATs. Basically all this level is is a few boxes and some 3dos, nothing more, nothing less.
Gameplay:
Well as bad as this level is in other subjects it plays pretty well. It's small but big at the same time, it has the small spaces for sabers and the fairly big open space to whip out your conc. Since this level doesn't contain much it maintains a nice framerate. This level has got it where it counts.
Final Comments:
Well if you can look past the visuals and architecture you'll find a pretty decent deathmatch level. It goes to show that good gameplay can hide anywhere and it stands a testament to the saying "Don't judge a book by its cover."
