- Aesthetics:
- Why is it that clan levels are always so massive and are below par. This level doesn't have anything to look at except a dull city
out in the middle of no where. The texturing is dull and repetitive and brings down the level even more. There was some lighting
in the level but mostly outdoors. In some places it was just plain ridiculous, pitch black to light than a fade away black and no
light source visible. Another problem with this level is that it is huge, you could run around for hours and maybe find your
opponent twice.
- Gameplay:
- Before I start this section, I just want to say one thing: what ever you do, do not go in the tower! The framerate will drop from
around 60 to .765 which is very bad! This level is just to big to maintain a nice smooth framerate. The level doesn't flow either,
you run up and down buildings, up elevators through doors and all in this huge level, it just doesn't fit together. It's like making a
puzzle out of chocolate, as soon as you put it together it melts. Another horrible feature is the lightning trap in this level, you
press it once and it stays on for the whole time your playing. If you try to enter that room, "zap!" your dead. It can get really
annoying. The level also contains a jail, which if used wrong can be a bad thing, while playing i just saw a door and opened it
from the outside, walked in and I was stuck. I had to kill myself with a bowcaster to get out.The item placement isn't very good either, there are very few items and that is bad
for a big level like this. It is more of a challenge to play this level by yourself
than to play it with other people.
- Final Comments:
- This is a level that I would stay away from. It seems that this was a first level and for a first level it was rather good but I think
for representing a clan, this was the wrong choice. It just has so many little flaws that it is not enjoyable to play.
