Saberlevel V
Author: [Dorkus Malorkus] Reviewer: [Brian]
Aesthetics:
The architecture in this level was pretty simple, as the author stuck to large square pillars and a few ramps, but the texturing and lighting made up for it. The texture theme was based on the valley of the Jedi temple set. The lighting was pretty dark, but it made for some interesting hiding and stalking. Overall, the level looked great, despite the simple architecture.
Gameplay:
The is a very small sabers-only level, and I recommend that no more than 3 or 4 people participate in a game. There are no real dynamic features, and there are only two vertical levels of play, but it was still a blast. As mentioned before, the lighting really contributed to a fun game, as you could dodge in and out of shadows. There were quite a few items (bacta, revives, etc) that will help you when you're hurting, but you'll have to look for some of 'em (they're in the dark corners).
Final Comments:
This is a fun sabers-only level, and if you're a saber fan, I recommend downloading it. There were no errors that I could find, and it looks and plays well. What more could a person want?
