Aesthetics:
This level has many things to talk about. First, the architecture.. The level is a three storied complex that centers around two large rooms. Though most of the action occurs in the main two rooms, there are also numerous smaller rooms as well as plenty of hallways to connect the place together. The architecture itself is great, as there are very few, if any boxy halls or rooms in the level.This level uses original JK textures only, but the author did the best job to date making use of Jedi Knight's textures. The texturing is very diverse and really fits the level. The lighting is very very good, as it's somewhat dark, but not enough to hinder gameplay.
Gameplay:
Gameplay in this level is excellent. With a solid range of weapons all expertly placed and a great balance of ammo, this level makes for great fast paced games no matter how many people are playing. The architecture makes for not only horizontal fighting, but vertical fighting also. A new cog replaces the need for elevators in one of the main rooms and makes you jump very high, adding one heck of an effect. The level is also connected together very well and has a great overall flow to it. Only negative thing here is the fact that there is an elevator, and that can cause lag as more and more players come into your game (it takes at least 6).
Final Comments:
This level is in my humble opinion the greatest JK MP level out to date. I have no complaints, only showers of praise. This level is an inspiration to me as to what a straight up deathmatch level should look and play like. The layout is near flawless, and the author shows that you don't need to make all new textures to make a good looking level. You should definitely have this one on your computer.
