Aesthetics:

This was the author’s first level, but it was a good attempt. The architecture was mostly boxy, but there were a few arches and slanted floors. It was especially boxy in the outdoor cutscene where it showed two AT-STs and two stormtroopers. Texturing was average, with no misalignments that I could find, but a lot of repetitivness. Also, there was a colormap error visible in the second cutscene. Lighting was darker than default in most areas, but uniform throughout the level. In dynamics, there were the new cutscenes and some tinted sectors, but that was about it.

Gameplay:

The level was extremely small and the only thing that stopped it from going by in two minutes were the cutscenes. There were some misspellings in the cutscene texts. You start with a small amount of health, so that makes you be weary as there are no visible health packs. Also, there was a rather bad HOM effect in one hallway which was very disorienting.

Final Comments:

Because this was the author’s first level, do not expect to be greatly astounded. And the level really is too small to provide solid gameplay. But it was included in the Adventures of Jan Ors, which will be reviewed later. All in all, a decent first attempt, but several errors that could have been fixed.
