Baron Castle
Author: [RED_XIIII] Reviewer: [Moonraker]
- Aesthetics:
- This may not be the best level to look at but it has it where it counts. The texturing is dull and repetitive but if your able to look past
it you'll find a great level. The architecture is a little on the boxy side too, but this level is based on gameplay, not eye candy.
- Gameplay:
- This is where this level can cover up its bad scores for aesthetics. It is a medium sized level and perfect for all kinds of battles.
You can have some very interesting scenarios in this level. The bridge connecting the two towers of the castle is the best place for
saber battles (it is really fun to force push your opponent). Many elevators bring you up to the different floors and it can get a little
irritating traveling up and down them but this is just a minor flaw. The framerate is ok with two people but when you get 4+ on the
towers you experience the slow down.
- Final Comments:
- This is a great level, a classic. The level isn't about looks, it's all about gameplay, the most important part of a level. When I first
started playing Mots and JK this was my level of choice and I've have played many games in it. Give this level a chance, and for
once look past the aesthetics.
