Leeza's Destiny 3.0

- Aesthetics:
- What are you waiting for? Start downloading this level pack right now. This level pack contains so much eye candy that it’s almost overwhelming. From the beautifully done colored lighting to the excellent weapons, and new enemies, this thing has a lot going for it. As always, colored lighting is nothing without the architecture to accentuate it (and to provide a reasonable base as to why it is there), and with this level pack, it’s no exception as the architecture is just as well done as the colored lighting was. Where would this mod be without it’s new cogs, enemies, and weapons? It would still be up their with some of the best user-made levels for MOTS, but it would not be the same. This thing contains so many new things that I won’t even begin to talk about them as they are simply the icing on an already beautifully crafted cake (not to mention it would make this review longer than it needs to be). The only things I found wrong in the area of texturing was 1 very visible mis-flagged surface (water) in level 2, and a few texturing misalignments which, considering the sizes of the levels, and the vastness of the project, is understandable.
- Gameplay:
-
With the new guns and the grappling hook, a lot of fun can be had going through the missions in this level pack. The grapple hook itself was innovated in many ways as it now features a better (and much cleaner) cog, and now features a physical device which launches the hook. Simply put this enhances the gameplay greatly, and with out going into too much detail so do many of the other weapons in the pack as well. The enemy placement in these levels was wonderfully done. Your kept on your toes, as you often run into enemies on your way back down a familiar path. Also, the final boss of the pack, so far (as the entire series isn’t finished yet), was well done and is very cool.
- Final Comments:
- Again, what are you waiting for, if you have MOTS, download this right now. I simply loved the way the author combined great architecture, and new gameplay additions to make this a truly sweet level pack for MOTS that stands out as one of the best.
