FE: Single Player/Co-op Maps: The Lava Warrens

The first map I have ever actually started AND finished for any game. Basically battle your way through the level to the showdown at the end. Hey... who needs a storyline. As you may have have guessed from the title the level has a distinct 'hot' feel. Watch where you strafe.

Trisk	Posted: 05/29/01 Report Abuse Not bad! The "mood" of this map is excellent, as is the architecture. I really like how the level wraps back around itself. Nice touch. The designer shows a good understanding of vertex manipulation. The lava looks excellent! It would be nice, however if a bit more work was done on the textures. Detail textures would help a great deal, as would a bit of texture allignment in the cavern areas. Make more, please! Admin Only: Delete
Frank Whitely	Posted: 05/31/01 Report Abuse Hey nice map! Good fun and some inspired moments such as when on the raft with the lava golem following, that was excellent. Look forward to the next one. One thing though, playing on Normal I reached the golem at the end with no ammo. Besides which, lava golem showdowns are getting old already... The golems earlier in the level were more interesting.
