I just wanted to let all the folks out there know that there is an alternative to Glowsabers called Glowblades. It has far fewer bugs than Glowsabers and all the darkjedi have glowsabers too. For those who would like to check it out it located at: http://home.earthlink.net/~dbedson/. Its been out there for almost as long as the Glowsabers Mod but it been kinda hard to find it.

OK, people have been reporting problems with access violation on exit. It was hard to reproduce, but I finally got it. Sure enough, it turned out to be a side effect of getting rid of those memory leaks. Now some people said they've been getting this error during stitching, and not on exit. This can't be the same error. And this error I'm totally unable to reproduce. It's possible that it's specific to your level. So if anyone is getting it, please send your level (preferably small) to ABadLevel@darkjedi.com.

There is a new version of JkEdit 2.58/1.58 available at http://www.magicforce.com.
Version 2.58/1.58 of JkEdit contain some new features:

• Updated Help for the Shape option in the Extrude dialogue
• The Shape option in the Extrude dialog has been improved

Version 2.58/1.58 of JkEdit contains a few bug fixes:

• The Shape option in the Extrude dialog was not always enabled correctly
• The angles specified in the Extrude dialog was not used correctly

Apparently, all four star speeders will have a new destination: Tatooine. The new show will take you to the planet and the ever popular but treacherous pod racing. You will somehow get caught in a pod race and other pod racers will try to knock you off the track, and this time you finally do get to your destination.

No news about reviews or levels today, but I just thought you guys would be interested to know that today (September 16th) marks the first birthday of the Command Chamber moving in at Jedi Nights. It's been quite a year for my first-ever website, with it growing from a small "SP experiment" to what we all know it as today. I'm very pleased with how the site has developed and evolved over the year, so if you want to post a little tidbit about this in the news, that would be great.

• Fixed bug that caused not being able to multiselect frames by holding Alt and dragging a rectangle over them.
• Fixed a bug that created invalid adjoins when you cleave an adjoined surface and then undo it.
• Fixed bug in undoing stitching.
• You can now delete vertices of adjoined surfaces. But watch out - JED won't delete the corresponding vertex of the adjoined surface for you so you might end up creating an invalid adjoin.
• Fixed a bug that sometimes caused windows to appear outside of screen if you start JED after reducing screen resolution.
• Eliminated a number of memory leaks
• Now when you delete a COG in "Placed COG editor" the COG references to other COGs are updated.
• Added "vertex merge" function - select duplicate vertices (vertices that are on the same spot) in vertex mode and press "M". You can't, of course, merge vertices of different sectors. JED does it for you anyway when you save to JKL.
• Fixed a bug in edge cleaving that lead to incorrect undo (and possibly other things).
• Now when you duplicate a COG in placed COG editor the cog values are also copied.
• Vertex deleting now works on the multiselection.
• Fixed a problem with textures jumping all over the place when trying to rotate them on some surfaces.
