Evil Death Match

Things that were good:

* Has a nice atmosphere.
* Good mixture of low/high altitudes.
* Good sound selection.

Things that were bad:

* Mis-alligned textures.
* Sky flags not correct(change to 204).
* Level was WAY too small.
* Very simple architecture.

Advice:

* Don't release your first level, or even your first couple, unless they are above average. If you do, people will remember your name and associate it with the bad level that you released, and they won't download your future levels.

* Practice architecture more. Boxes with star textures aren't too appealing. Add pipes, colums or anything else that you can think of to make the architecture more appealing.

* Make your levels larger. Some people may enjoy playing in levels with 2-3 rooms, but the more serious players won't. The larger, the better.

* Make more than one entrance to most rooms. The level must flow well, so don't limit entrances to one.

This is a good start. You have an eye for atmosphere. Your level reminds me of the Nar Shaddaa levels in Singleplayer.

(Yes, I DID get permission, bug added them himself :). Also Bug re-editeded the level after I was finsihed. Just wanted to say that... Thanks Bug...

Posted: 2000-11-04 10:56 a.m.   Report Abuse listen to reacotr, he knows what he means. i'm currentlly working on my 3rd level, kell dragon camp. it will have:

a. main room in the middle

b.4 rooms branching off from the main room containing- a kell dragon pit,1 dragon
a kell dragon pit,2 dragons
a force throw training room
a saber room with boxes

c.NO guns(sorry gunners)

it's nice and big and depending on when i finish it, i may save it for massassi pack 4.

Result: It isn't. The review is just, in my opinion the author can even be quite happy that he got so many points.
I would _not_ recommend downloading this level.

It is a good score for a first level... Check out my first level review "StarLightFight2" Which got a 60. And then check out Mantice Level Pack by a friend and I which recieved a 91, It is all in the time you have been editing...
