James Bond 007 v2.0

Posted: 2001-06-22 1:43 p.m.   Report Abuse The weapon 3dos in this mod were too blocky and simple. The only decent 3do is the sniper rifle. The rest of the guns were almost off the screen, only the barrels could be seen. The projectiles were all very simple, and most of the guns shot similar projectiles. The bullets don't make any ricochet sound when hitting a wall. The bullet shells are unrealistic cause they bounce too much and get annoying. The P99 sound is terrible. The background BMs have very bad resolution, and its often hard to see the text because of the color palette conflicts.
What happened to the signature weapon thing that you were talking about? And have you actually tested this mod to see if it works in multiplayer? I don't think it does...
The only good thing about this mod is the skins, even though some of them don't resemble their character.

Posted: 2001-06-22 10:58 p.m.   Report Abuse OUCH! MY EYES! Sorry, twas a valiant effort but everything said above is true. I want a mod to be pleasing to my eyes and my mind. This was not pleasing to either one. Please, take this back and do some work. If you do, I'm sure I would be back here giving you nothing but praise. It is a good base...but still needs work. Great ideas, but needs to be expanded upon. Please, do a little work.

Posted: 2001-06-25 9:28 a.m.   Report Abuse Some of you guys are being too harsh, the skins are great and 3dos are hard to make. If someone could provide him with weapon 3dos such as PPK, P99, MP5-A2, Ak-74ASU this mod could be one of the most popular on massassi.
His persistance is admirable.

And the next James Bond mod will feature replacements for all 10 weapons, so don't you worry. I realized 5 wasn't enough after I released it.

Posted: 2002-07-13 10:15 a.m.   Report Abuse I hated this mod!! It stayed in my hard drive for about 2 minutes. One reason is that you only get 4 guns! Geeze spend some more time trying at least. The skins are good but they're not extraordinarily good. Still what's James Bond without his guns. You didn't even add his trusty PP7. Man you need to spend a lot more time on this mod. I give you a 2 for trying.

Posted: 2002-08-01 6:47 p.m.   Report Abuse Actually, there's no such thing as a PP7. For some reason, they couldn't get the rights to Bond's gun, the PPK, for the N64 GoldenEye game. The PPK, which is an abbreviation for the english equivalent of "concealable police pistol", is a smaller version of the Walther PP (police pistol). The PPK was introduced in the 1930s and has remained largely unchanged to today. It is, despite what the Bond movies might have you believe, a fairly common sidearm. Since Tomorrow Never Dies, Bond has used the Walther P99.

Just figured I'd clear that up. Most people don't realize there's no such thing as a PP7.
