Wolfy's JK Movies

Description

Two movies I've made for Jedi Knight through use of COGs. I got the inspiration when reading a PC Gamer article about Quake movies... while these may not have the same quality, I hope they bring some enjoyment to you.

Wow, Wolfy. If you put enough time into it you could make a really good movie.

This was pretty good though, the second one you made before right? I recognized it from somewhere on the showcase forums.

Anyway, the only problems I saw were having to look up and read instead of see what was going on, and that black screen whenever someone got killed showed a bit of the default mat.

Good job, make us another 1!

Hahhaha, these were great, if not a bit quick, huh? Yeah, trying to read and watch everything at the same time was kinda annoying. So were the "killing" scenes -- everything blacked out...I wanna see carnage!! =)

It was a bit short; and it was a bit hard to follow because you need to read and watch at the same time; also those letters in jk are so darn tiny!

The second one was over a bit too fast.

If you make another one I'd suggest you to use real voice instead of text.

Good, but would be better with real voice. and to make it more like a movie you could look at the tutorial for recording JK and make the movies as avi files. :D

Seven out of ten hillbillies give it two thumbs up.

I'm afraid I was under impressed. The concept is nice, but here were the problems:

1. Hard to understand what was going on. I had no idea what was happening most of the time through the first movie.

2. As previously stated, hard to follow the action and the text. Sound files would be excellant for future endeavors. Especially since you create original characters, there's no problems of "Kyle doesn't sound like a ten year old boy!!!!" or anything.

3. The second movie was way to short. I was just getting interested and it was over.

All in all, kinda a dull watch, honestly, but there is potential, of course, to make great movies, so I say undoubtably keep it up!

I had to give you a low 6. It wasn't bad in all. I mean it must have took a lot of time and effort to make but the ending really ruined it for me. Haven't you ever heard of a happy ending?!!! In every story, the good guys should end up winning!!! What kind of Star Wars, ends like that?! Overall the lightside wins in real life and in fiction. There are 9 actual Star Wars movies. The good guys win in 1, 2 (considering they got a clone army. So, that was a win for the good guys at that time. Little did they know about order 66), 4, 6, 8, and 9. So, good beats evil in 6/9 Star Wars movies. And if you count the spin offs 8/11 movies. Because Solo was obviously a win for the good guys and kinda Rouge One (because even tho they died, they accomplished their mission. They still succeeded in getting the rebel alliance the death star plans). Therefore in most good Star Wars movies (even in The Clone Wars, actually), the lightside/good guys win. So, I had to drop off some points for the dark ending. But despite my personal taste, I still gave you a 6 because your work was technically sound. Your only problem was the plot, not any bugs or errors. So, these movies weren't awful. Good job... kinda.

BTW, I noticed many other commenters are complimenting you on your other level... "the fall of jubisoft"? Sorry if I got that wrong but I'm not looking at that page right now. I haven't played that one in particular but if it's related to these 2 movies I might give it a try to understand better. Are you saying these movies extend upon your level? If so, I'll play it. So are these connected?
