Thegue City RPG

The Massassi Temple » Levels/Mods » Jedi Knight Multiplayer Level » Thegue City RPG

Description

The final installation of the Thegue series. A medium size level. Basically, you start in a lobby, and choose a character (like in Barons Hed RPG, but no new skins). Then, you just play it out. More info can be found in the Thegue Info notepad. Please tell me what you think, and dont just consider the screenshots and the level's arch/texturing. NOTE: 16 bit textures require 3D card to view.

It's a pretty nice level RPG wise, but it looks like all that happens when you go into a character warp in the beginning is just "a warp" it doesn't really give you extra features or anything, you just warp to the police station or whatever. Also, I didn't really understand why there was a mission objective in there, but that's alright. Plus, I saw a few default textures but they were only used to blend into the others, so I give this level an 8. Keep on editing!

I beta tested this level a little and I thought the archi' could have been better. I think it's pretty good though for just RPG style of play.

Yay

As i told you hamhog, I was to my limit. The only way i expanded my level was by Merging. Heck, I dot have a spare 30 bucks...I did my best under the conditions!Again, you are not paying attention to the gameplay. Say more about that, and a little less just about arch./texturing. Youy all seem to be real picky about that-Thats ok, but I was under crappy limitations. Heck, If i could, I WOULD make this level bigger and better...

You could have used Jed
It doesn't cost anything

As I just said, this level is going to be very good for RPG games and the like. The textures are good. And I was NOT trying to flame your level. Only saying that the archi could have been better.

There,
I'm done,
I shall refrain from further commenting on this level.

ok, so tell me; I have spent months at a time trying to learn Jed. When i try to get advice, ythey tel me to use the tutorials herre, which are almost always for a different version. So tell me, Since NO ONE can help me with JED, why should i be expectd to use it? Besides, I have NO experience in JED.

LoL, JED is a very very simplistic editor. There's simply nothing to it. Have you tried editing Quake III? The Q3 Radient manual is 136 pages long.

The way I hear it, Emon, is that Quake lighting is much harder to do than in JK...

Ok, SOME of these comments are getting off Topic. Emon, please keep critisicm(sp?) to yor self UNLESS it is constructive. HamHog, Gangster and and even JKDude or whatever are being more constructive than you. Even though ham hog was missing my point, he was still be constructive. Laughing and saying how easy JED is , and not saying why, isnt making good use of the comments.

Good level. Very big. there is a few problems: I can't get in/out of the Weapon man's shop and in the main loby where you choose your person, you always end up as Katarn. Over all, a very good level for being your third.

In reply to that post up there, JED is extremely difficult to understand, I've tried it myself. The Neverwinter Nights Aurora Toolset is more of my kind of ease, and even though that requires scripting for the most detailed features, it's still pretty easy. JED...NOT easy.
