This is an ancient golden saber with ancient textures and gems. A very precious hilt! I also tried to make the saber colors more realistic and the blade is thinner now! Enjoy!

Very Nice but didn't work for me...

I think it was packed as .ACE which Outcast doesn't read, i unpacked it then repacked it as a ZIP file then renamed it as ancientsaber.pk3 worked fine then.

First let me say something: The file is OK!
BUT.... YOU HAVE TO RENAME THE 'ancientsaber.pk3' into (for example) 'Xancientsaber.pk3'. It is important to put a letter above 'a' before the name. Otherwise JO will load the 'ancientsaber.pk3' file first and then overwrite it with the 'assets0.pk3' file.

Very very nice, i used this with the Uber-saber mod, makes it look much better then the fat/blurry default sabers--i give this a 9.

"note: getting a 10 would have to be the coolest possible thing in the world, however a 9 would be considered an A+ if were a teacher hehe".

It sort of worked. Its gold and everything. But I don't see any gems in it! Why not?

Hi Dark-Rose. I checked the file one more time and have to say that it works properly :-)

The only thing, I can imagine is that maybe you choose in your graphic set up menu a lower resolution(for example 'fast' or 'fastest'). The game will load then the other saber.md3 file with less polygons and less textures.

Change the graphic at least to 'normal' then the gems are visible on the hilt.

lol! I never knew it was that simple. I feel dumb. But at any rate, I love this saber! Its so well detailed. I gave it a 10. If I could go higher, I would have.

It's awesome! But the saber i got looks different, the gems are gone and some of it is still silver. What happened? I like the one i ended up with more, but they're both cool i give them both tens. Also, if you use cheats, how do you work sabercolor X?

I don't really like this that much... I don't think a gold saber is really all that cool... 6/10

Very Good! the blade is almost the right thickness! (it's sopoused to be as thick as your thumb)
