The level "The Phantom Menace: Final Battle" has now been revised.

This revision fixes the following:

1. Naboo fighters no longer fly backwards.
2. The frequency of Qui-Gon suiciding is reduced.
3. When Darth Maul dies, Qui-Gon no longer attacks you.

rilian4	Posted: 07/05/00 17:01 Report Abuse The battle AI is decent but the area itself could use some fine-tuning. The are where Maul dies in the movie does not look much like the real thing. I have seen some multiplayer levels that make it much more realistic. A bug I found is that Maul fell to the very bottom and did not die. I followed and died. Admin Only: Delete

There are some bad points. 1) The level doesn't look much like the one from the movie 2) Qui-Gon suicides when he gets bored and 3) Like everyone said Darth Maul wont die if he falls off. But aside from those, this level can be fun. My sguuestions are put on Duel of the Fates in your MP3 player and play it using Spork 1.2. That will make it rather cool. This level could use a lot of work, but its still fun to play nonetheless. Admin Only: Delete

There isn't a feel of actually fighting and no skill is needed to win. Ok the first time you play but after that is just plain dull. Admin Only: Delete
_JP_danny8533	Posted: 10/14/00 16:55 Report Abuse i know how to fix the problem with darth falling, just downoad a jetpack mod and dont use the jetpack unless he fell, then slowly use your jetpack to get to the bottom, and there will be maul waiting for you. Admin Only: Delete

jarjaryoda	Posted: 11/11/00 19:11 Report Abuse HERE IS HOW YOU FIX THE BUG THAT MAUL DOESN'T DIE WHEN FALLING OFF!!!! What you do is open it up with your level editor and set the floor properties on the very bottem to enemy and player can't walk or use the COG that kills any players if they touch that surface. Mike_leon	Posted: 11/12/00 16:08 Report Abuse The idea of the level is very good because all of us want to defeat Darth Maul and the level is like te last one of Phantom Menace. But it got some problems: 1-Qui Gon and Darth Maul have a sickness of play at the edge of the bridge and when you attack a lot Darth maul (you know what happen), and after that he still alive at the base of the level. 2-Qui-Gon still attack you when Maul dies. 3-The circular place in the movie when Qui-gon dies is to little to fight and is not completly circular. But the idea is very good and the gameplay is not bad. Try it if you want kill Darth Maul Admin Only: Delete

No offense but this is just the same dark jedi with a double saber that has no effect on the gameplay. Plus, where is maul when he lights up his double saber? He's on grass or something. branobi1	Posted: 06/30/01 14:40 Report Abuse I like this level. I've never seen Qui-Gon attack Obi-Wan, ever. I know if Darth Maul falls, your mission is at a dead end. Qui-Gon jumps off the catwalk for a reason. The reason is, he dies in the movie, right? So, it is actually showing that he died. He is supposed to be stabbed by Darth Maul but the author might have not had a cog that could do that so, well done author, This is a great level. Admin Only: Delete

What would be cool is if someone made a mod that made you able to kill other saber-weilding foes with just one hit, but it would be very hard to hit them, just like the movies. Qui-Gon Jinn doesn't die when he falls down, Darth Maul doesn't attack much he just walking around looking at you, need big long laser walls just like in the movie, need a scene where Maul kills Qui-Gon and last but not least This level should be more like the movies, for example the last level on the pc and psx game called SW Episode I TPM. Anyways, this game is great for training though and great level. Oh yeah you need to do somthing with those Naboo Starfighters they supposed to take off into space in the right hangar. Monster	Posted: 02/17/03 10:49 Report Abuse This is a very fun level. It really is like the movie because Darth Maul is hard to hit. The catwalks look alot like the movie and the laser chamber is cool. At first when you play the level, you will think it sucks. But once you get the hang of it, it is a great level. I like to run into the laser chambers and let Darth Maul follow me. It is really like the movie when you are battling around the pit. The level isn't really that hard because you have the healing and absorb force powers. The level is a good challenge for newbie through advanced players. You have to be moving around alot to avoid Darth Maul. I think this level will really test and improve your dueling skills. When Qui-Gon falls off the cliff, it is not that annoying because in the movie, Qui-Gon dies. This level is one of my favorites. I rate it 8/10. Another great Phantom Menace level I recommend is Duel of the Fates. Duel of the Fates is for Mysteries of the Sith though. Nardar	Posted: 07/14/03 16:36 Report Abuse I thought this level would be neat and when I played it, it was ok it had everything like it would be in the movie defeating Maul was easy all you had to do was to make Darth Maul face you when he was like right on the edge( but don't make him fall) and be on the other side of Maul. Every time he is facing Qui Gon get a swing on him quickly. Qui Gon can hurt Darth Maul but I say Maul has around 2000 to 3000 health. If you do this correctly you should win and you can see Qui Gon live after Maul is dead. ( 7 ) Admin Only: Delete
