Posted: 2002-08-10 6:54 a.m.   Report Abuse Its an ok level and all. I like RPG Levels but your map is too bland. You need more detail and architecture, stuff like that. Other than that, its pretty good, I like seeing RPG levels released.

Posted: 2002-08-10 8:38 a.m.   Report Abuse [Edit: Sorry for being so harsh, but if we go easy on new level creators, they will think their creations are good and make MORE of them, instead of pushing themselves to do better, and making superb levels that anyone can do if they set aside some decent time and put their mind to it... planning a level doesn't hurt either.]

Although my gut reaction was to give this a zero when I saw the overly complex installation instructions... but I just deleted it, and went to comment it. Then I said "Well, he DID master Radient..." then my friend told me the PK3 file was corrupt. That settled it. Then I reasoned that other ppl had played it, so maybe it was a problem with my friend's dl. Then he told me he re-dled it and it was still screwed.

My Rating: 0

Reason: It is impossible to play it, because the PK3 is corrupt. I would even suspect it might crash JO, except I never tried it.

Can a person who is not able to type a 5 to 7 line .arena file able to make a good level? I THINK NOT!!! A good level without an .arena file is an oxymoron, therefore I have to conclude that I didn't miss much by deleting the PK3 (In fact, if I may shoot at the author again, it may have been more fun).

Now for some SUGGESTIONS to make your next level receive less harsher reviews:

- Make an .arena file. They really aren't that hard.
- Make a rough estimate of how long it took you to make the level. Even working at breakneck pace, a good level should be given enough detail and size to take a week to make... don't release levels that only took you a day (I'm not saying this one did!).

Posted: 2002-08-18 9:25 p.m.   Report Abuse Hi guys. This is my first level and I'm happy it got at least a 6 =) This one is the DEMO version of my level. The final will have a spaceship and a beach around the level.

Posted: 2002-12-30 1:07 p.m.   Report Abuse I can't play the map. The download was under 1MB, and the extracted map appears to be over 3MB (looks like major compression)
I have yet to try the console method; but I doubt it will load up the map.
I can't open the PK3, since PakScape indetifies it as being corrupt.

I'm not going to rate it, because I haven't played it. I hope to, so hopefully the Author can fix this.
I like RPG maps in JO, adds more fun to the game.
