DeaTH-WaLK is a fast-paced, close-quartered gunning level pack. Included are two versions: Conc Warz and Rocket Arena; each version plays with a different degree of difficulty. This level pack is designed for 2-4 players, but can support up to 8.

Camping is a impossibility on this level, so games end up more fun and even. Ignore whoever is dragging down the rating, this level easily warrants a 10/10 Admin Only: Delete
NaiLz	Posted: 09/29/02 11:47 Report Abuse I Feel even the most awesome level ever will not get a 10. I know I am optimistic but nothing is ever perfect. This level even though i participated in it's creation is one of the best jk levels I have ever played. I loved playing it in quake 3 and i knew it would rock in JK so we brought it to light and wah-lah here it is. It is the most fast paced level for gunning ever in jk that I will admit. Your strategy has to change constantly or people will pick u off and u will keep dying death after death. i am really glad everyone has enjoyed this so far. We worked very hard on it for 2 weeks straight. oh and one last thing. Keep an eye out for the next Quake 3 Arena level.....hehe Admin Only: Delete
zagibu	Posted: 09/29/02 12:48 Report Abuse There were only three things I didn't like about this level: The bricks are too small There should be something on the middle ramp The force_jump restriction This level is quality stuff. If you like fast-paced action, go and get it. Admin Only: Delete

Blood_Asp	Posted: 09/29/02 18:35 Report Abuse NaiLz, don't you think force powers might just make the jump pads useless? I don't think force powers have any place in this map, and a "force-friendly version" would take a complete overhaul of the layout. Zag, couple things: Something placed on the middle ramp would cause people to hover around the ramp. NaiLz and I butted heads over this issue, and he and I decided to move the crucial pickups to places where people would have to keep moving. This map looks simple -- and it is -- but not so much as one might think. It took me not even two days to build the map, and the rest of the three week period was spent testing schemes/flows/placement. We had well over 10 versions of this map, and what NaiLz and I settled on was the best overall version... well NaiLz will disagree probably, but hey, we compromised in the end. Admin Only: Delete

Your appreciation of our work is going to fuel our next project to a level far beyond what we've obtained with DeaTH-WaLK. Now, I know what you're gonna say, I'm some sort of n00b. Well, I've got some news for you. I have tried repeated times to get this level working. I have vertified it was in my Episode dir. I read through the txt looking for help. I ungobbed it and looked up it's episode name in episode.jk, and then looked again in the episode drop list. Not there. Unless I'm doing something really stupid, then it's safe to say that there is somethign very wrong with your level--except for that fact that OTHER people seem to have no problem (did you upload an update to it? If so, it could be the cause of my problem). I have half a mind to rate this 0 right here and now (maybe other people did, too?) but since other people are able to use it, I will refrain rating it for now. Admin Only: Delete
NaiLz	Posted: 09/30/02 20:54 Report Abuse ok depending on your windows if u extract the .gob into episode it will show up in its own folder on some newer windows versions I have no idea why it does this it just does did it to me anyway so go into episode and open the death walk folder then cut and paste the gob into episode or just open the zip extract to desktop then cut and paste into episode lol Admin Only: Delete
