there isnt anything special about this map that really stands out, and it is very tight without much room to fight. The fact that you have to jump from step to step to reach the top took away from the final score. The design and concept of the map are nice though. I gave it a seven...

Gameplay isn't that great (not bad though), but it's quite visually appealing. Attention to detail is amazing.

Just for a note on the best way to get up the temple would not be the stairs but the ramps on the side of the stairs. 8) I tryed to fit good stairs in but I could not get ones the size I wanted in the design of the temple I am going to fix that for my CTF level though. and Maybe a Massassi Duel 2 some day.

Looks like a ziggurat. Built sometime during the 2500's B.C. by the Mesopotamians or Sumerians. Specific example: King Nebuchadnezzar. They were built by bricks 13 1/4 inches long and wide, 3 1/2 inches deep. They used at least 1 million bricks for the first level. Ziggurats are represented frequently in legends of the Ark of the Covenant (Indiana Jones, Raiders of the Lost Ark).

To make any stair case work good so that a player can easily run up it without getting caught on it, simply add a sloped clip brush over the stairs, cleaved at the same angle as the stairs rise. This will prevent the models from getting caught in the gaps between the stairs.
