| HothRebel | Posted: 07/03/00 03:54 Report AbuseThis level seems to be the author's version of Canyon Oasis. It's NOT CO but you'll notice the general areas of CO are incorporated into it. It's not a bad level, actually it kind of has a nostalgic feel- had this level been released about 1.5 years ago it would have been highly praised- it has the same look and feel of those older levels that were considered great at the time. The general flagging of surfaces and 3do's should have been different(trees sound like metal, grass sounds like rock, water should splash)the textures are a little too repetitive(also found one dark surface that was untextured), but there were no real major problems that I found. Like I said before- it has the feel of the classics, and I think that if the author spends more time fine tuning his future levels(and maybe a little more arch)then we should see some pretty good levels from him. It still seems to be going...
I didn't expect this many downloads because of it's age.
By the way, Hoth, This was my 1st level so sorry about the problems you found.

| Spider-Man 4.0 | Posted: 11/03/00 00:02 Report AbuseQuit complaining, I sometimes just go here in debug mod when I'm stressed, it is so relaxing just standing next to the waterfall. I swear, I love this level, no mnatter what age, it relaxes me so much, it is much better than the high building tops I'm acustom too. I swear, people this level is the best thing that has ever came into my gameing life. Nothing can come close to my love for this level. Complaining about a few area's is the most pathetic thing I ever heard. Give this level a break, it is a classic and in my opinion belongs up with Drazen Isle in the hall of fame! I swear, stressful days end with me standing there alone with all my lights turned of, me relaxed so much. This level is freaking beautifle. Drazen is the only level that matches this levels beauty. The author has used something very hard to do but very neat in the level; moving water. Moving water requires vector calculations and creating the water. Nice level. I could tell this was oasis but it had a lot of adjustmants that i like and this is probely the best oasis look alike u will see. | KillerBee | Posted: 04/05/01 17:45 Report AbuseIMHO the level had low fps in places, it had enough itmes in it to fill up your ammo sack 1.5* or so. and was a bit hard on the feat, ie the jumps were just off what Oasis has, making it quite annoying :) but it looked ok..
ohh and posse the dflts were 1 surface (Well all I found) and that was on an all dark bit.Admin Only: Delete |

This level looks HORRIBLE. I don't know why you people think it looks great.
1. It's Boxy
2. It's repetitive
3. The lighting looks bad
4. Like someone said earlier, reminds them of CO. WE DON'T NEED ANYMORE DAMN CO LEVELS
