Description

This is a remake of my Vader vs Obi-Wan saber battle for JK... it was such a disappointment, I had to make it again!! The improvements include:Death Star Hangar now looks more like the real thing Cutscene showing Vader & Ben talking. Cutscene showing Han, Leia, Chewie, Luke, Threepio and Artoo escaping from the Death StarBen is harder and now has force powers Better ambience and atmosphere. Better Obi-Wan skin (sorry Skinners!!)New and better MATs All the characters have voice-overs.

I really enjoyed the Cutseens. The level would have failed without them.

Awesome effects, sounds, 3do's, make this a defintie download level, wish you could continue or even explore some of the death star. But so far I recommend this to be part of the Obi Wan vs Darth Vader duel scene in the Star Wars Triology TC

It's the little things in life that amuse us the most. Such as this level. It's just a small slice of a fantastic film, but gives you the chance to actually play it. I love this level, and I think the voice overs and cut scenes are what make it. They were very cleverly done. A kewl level from a kewl film. But Obi wan's constant blinding is a bit annoying...

To put it simply, YOU ARE A GENIUS!!! THIS LEVEL WAS AWESOME!!! The cutscenes were great, and the level itself was a masterpiece. It looked exactly like the movie, and it was fun to kick Obi-Wan's wrinkly tooshy all over the place!!!

Great level AND cutscenes... I want more!
(you can really mess up the cutscenes if you use the weapons cheat and place proximity mines at certain locations)

Well... everyone pretty much said what I would but I will say it anyway. Great Job! I could not do that good if I tried. The cutscenes where stupendous. The only thing I hated was Obi Wan's blinding. It sorta gets to ya after the 12th time or so. Other than that, all I have to say is keep making more and keep up the good work. The force will be with you... always.

Wow! i really like this duel, and the cutscenes were cool. But i found that killing Obi-Wan was too easy.u can easly kill one of the officers and get their blaster,than shot Obi w\ it, he never blocks the shots. also u can force grip him and kill him that way easly. he never uses much force, just blind which he only uses at a distance. i would've enjoyed it more if it was a TAD bit harder, but great duel! it deserves a 9. First of all, DOWNLOAD THIS LEVEL RIGHT NOW!!!!!
This level was Great. I've played quite a few SP dueling levels, but this takes the cake. The skins are superb, the voices stright from A New Hope, and the detail of the Death Star's hanger compared to that of the movie is excellent.
Sure, Obi-Wan uses Blinding a lot, but that makes it challenging. The cutscenes follow the storyline perfectly and the textures are mainly good. There are a couple of choppy places, but that sort of gives it class. While the use of a scene from a movie usually ends in disaster whe put into a level, this breaks the chains.
I can't say enough about it.
Now for practically the only bad part, the cutscenes are great, and so are the skins. But they're still sort of blurry. And thats to be expected from this type of level, but it did sort of take away from the nostalgia.
Well, anyway, if you dont download this level, then your phone lines should be severed and you should be cut off from access to the internet for life.

Rad level....a tad easy for my liking, but great fun nonetheless. I've played it several times already, and gotten quite creative with sequencer charges, force push, and the elevator shaft....great place to waste time in. Beautifully rendered in all respects.

Awesome level, just wondering, is there a download for those skins in that game? I loved the Qui gon and leia skins, those were beautifully done! If not, is there going to be a download for them anytime in the future?

Now... MY review...
This was for real and awesome level, one far worth downloading. Now, after playin the level, I have the urge to go digging through myt movie box and find that star wars movie, i have it somewhere, lol. In my opinion, this level kicks butt!

I think this is one of the most accurate and best saber duels ever! It was exactly like the movie fight. If you make a new level based on one of the movie fights, I'll download it in a heartbeat! Great work, I give it a ten.

Just for fun I used the iamagod cheat and when I force pushed Obi-wan into the big hole he got killed but the level did not end!

I thought that this level was very good. Just some suggestions first I think that you should use a better Millennium Falcon like the one in "Docking Bay 2037". Also you should use the same skin because first he is wearing no robe then when he dies he is wearing one. But in all a very good level.

Easily one of the best MOTS levels ever made, this level lets you recreate the FIRST saber battle SW fans ever saw! The sounds from ANH really make the level more exciting to play. A must download for any SW fan.

Would the level's creator be interested in making a level for Episode III? Or maybe complete a ANH-TC? All the models are there and the wav files made from all the movies can be seamlessly integrated to add drama to a level. Very good level, one of the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! thats all i can say becouse words can not describe how awsome this level is. I wish somone would make an episode 4 level pack. Loved the cut scenes, Heck I LOVE this level!
