Description

Flashsabers is the first saberglow mod (a mod that puts a translucent glow on the lightsaber) that does not require a 3D accelerator card. It does so by flashing between a "core" mat and a "glow" mat, hence the name. This version includes the Green, Yellow, Orange, Red, Black/White, Purple, and Blue sabers. You also have an option of a black "Sith" or white "Jedi" core. (Note: The glow flashes faster than it appears in the screenshots. Flashes are once per frame, unless your framerate is higher than you monitor's refresh rate.)

This is great. My fps is usually up between 80-100, so the aura of the saber seems very real. If you have a low fps ([30), I wouldn't recommend downloading the (mod?). But for all of you with computers faster than 266, or people with a decent videocard, this is perfect.

I like the choice of a black or white core. That topped it off, for me. This almost ranks up there with GlowSabers.
