The Empire's Capital

The Massassi Temple » Levels/Mods » MotS Single Player Level » The Empire's Capital

Description

You are mercenary/common rascal called Henry Rodder, and your mission for the day is to kill a rebel officer imprisoned at the heart of the the Empire itself, Coruscant. And escape.

The level is quite long, with lots of ships flying around: TIEs, Corellian ships. Nice architecture with buildings rising up to space full of windows, platforms etc... Imperial troopers/commandos storming down corridors shooting to kill... and two cantinas full of shadowy aliens...

It has a variety of puzzles and different goals, but it's not too hard to beat if you have two fingers of forehead. This level will provide a nice half hour of fun, if played properly.

Not bad. I liked the atmosphere (lots of ships flying around) and think more levels in this setting would be nice to see.

My only gameplay problem was not being able to find the Rodian contact, yet still being able to finish the level. There also seemed to be a lot of instances where you had to retrace your ground, which took away from some of the fun.

But I look forward to seeing more levels from you

Good MOTS level but for such a great level comes a bad game I just don't like MOTS. But for this game this is a very very good level.

Hey bud, I played the old version of this level and the new one too and I loved the atmosphere. Good puzzles but you might think of making a new type of enemy for the next level.. I wasnt really challanged by the stormies even though I played it at 'Hard'.

You made good use of sound and the flying ships made for a realy nice playing experience, cant wait for part 2.

This is very good level, the only prblem that I am having is getting past the red force field towards the end. I have already met the rodian.

Maybe you didnt find it hard because of the things limit in a level (455), I just couldnt put more stormies in there.
And btw would you mind in voting high for this level? :)

The first goal is not completed after much later into the level so dont despair if you seem to go nowhere.
Like many JK/MOTS levels theres only ONE way to go almost always, all you gotta do is find it.
Theres only one time when the level goes in two different directions, and that is when you get out of a ventilation shaft and to you left there a big elevator shaft to go up and beneath that theres the secret entrance to the prison level, you gotta go up to see the rodian in the big cargo area...puff! :)

I slaughtered the rodian without thinking (got carried away with my twin blastechs) but still managed to complete the level..

Well the rodian doesnt play a vital part in the level, hes just a contact, btw double blastechs? is that a SavageX mod?

Nicely designed level. I loved the ships coming and going and the general architecture. However, the level was insanely long. It must have taken me 2 or three hours to beat it. I don't remember finding the Rodian; I probably killed him. The warehouse part with the stacked crates was especially nice. I would have liked to start the level with a little more weaponry, since on a mission such as this a Blastech and a few thermies would've been useful. Also, I would have liked to see more of a variety of enemies. I liked the cantinas, though. All in all a grueling but decent level.

Tho8 the lvl in general was perdy good. The only problem I came across was I found myself able to kill the officer and get back out through the shaft without using the rodian- plot got confusing. Apart from this a really cool lvl. Enemy placement was good as well as city architecture which looked supreme.

Really a good one! With some serious work, the next part could be even compared with things like... mmm... ToaM & BoaM... well, I mean - the level has a lack of cutscenes (now that is what sux!) and you may get bored of these hallways and doors, which do not open (you were ought to check them not to miss something)... but the gameplay and architecture are on top, so - keep on the good work, I'd like to see something really impressing in the next part:))

The screenshots don't give this level credit. The attention to detail is great. It's good to be able to look around and explore Coruscant. It was difficult so I only gave it 9/10. A very well made level that is worthy of the name STAR WARS.
