Description:

In this single player level, the main goal is to go onto a manufacturing facility and capture a scientist. While building this level, many things were learned, and will be used in the future. Heavy criticism is appreciated.

First: This was not very helpful, too.

Second: Your level.
1.) You need to fix the Star Wars Open Cutscene Text. Make the black background invisible.

2.) I missed the Main Theme. Yellow Text without enough dadadadaaadaaaa isn't that funny.

3.) Slopped corners might look good but not in space stations.

4.) During Cutscenes you should do something to save the player. like in the "They launched a Tie" cut I died coz I couldn't move.

5.) All in all the archi was boxy and the texturing was boring but for a first try it looks cool. (Try working on your cutscenes: More Cameras and more models that move to fram make it look better, like the thing with the stardestroyer, use one camer that ashows the ship shoot and another that shows the Thingy bloww up and in the foreground the other ship flys by).

6.) In the "I need to find a way in" case use the doorlocked 1 side cog. coz if you are inside he shouldn't say I need to find a way IN.

7.) Use more Troopers and less Probe Droids, Probe Droids in Bases are unrealistic, I think.

8.) All in all these were funny 10 mins.

Ok the first thing i can say is it was way to easy. It took me about 5 minutes. There should have been more stormtroopers and guards or something for a base like that. Also i would've have mentioned some other things but they've been said by Elmo. The cutscenes did need improving and the one with the star destroyer was a little unrealistic. In about 1 or 2 shots they blew up a star destroyer. Also the woman in one of the rooms who helps you. Why? shes working with the imperials. When you get to the scientist it ends, you could have taken him back to the ship.
But the drunk stormtroopers bit was something too look at.

Oh...its ok for a first level. Nice idea with the cutscenes(I already seen betters thought :-/) And as the other guy said, it was "very"(happy Brian? :-P) short. I give you the passing grade.

Right at the start if you go behind the lift that's at side of the bar thingy and try to squese into the gap between the two walls you compleate the game!
You need to be more careful about this sorta thing.

Not bad for a first level. However, here are a few things that have not been pointed out yet.

1. The stairs up to the bar have too high of a step ; you have to jump all the way up.

2. There were absolutely no enemy stormtroopers, officers, etc. Just droids. If you had said this was a droid-run imperial base, it would have added more realism.

3. There is some HOM when you look out the window of the control room into the landing area.

4. You should have used std_elev.cog instead of simple_elev.cog for the elevator.

Fair for a first attempt of a level. Could use a little touching up. On side note, Chris: unrealistic??? Star Wars it self is unrealistic!

Well, when I played it I agree to the person that made a comment at the top, you need to do better in the main title. Well cya and good-luck on your next one

Interesting concept, but it needs some work for sure. I like the idea of an elite commando group running missions. But perhaps if you could add in more than one person to the level, in other words, have other commandoes doing other tasks, to fully use the commando team concept.
Also, the lab was a box in space...I think a little more creativity here was needed.

Nice decorations in the lab area, and always fun to read signs on the walls like that.

But my main complaint was definately the easiness of the level. I too completed it in about 5 minutes. You need to expand a level, and add more threats and hazards.
