True, but I think many people wanted this (which I have heard many ask for me to make one) simply because the auto block stuff in Jedi Knight is not exactly that accurate. Mostly, I think he just wanted to have it so that if you blocked.... you blocked, end of story.

The mod makes it so the blocking animation changes where you are shot. Like in The Phantom Menace game. So instead of having the 3 default animations just play thru over and over, it plays a certain animation depending on where you are shot. Thus making the blocking a little better.

I really like it. i don't think it's all that great alone, but i'd be an awesome addition to any mod. I gave it an 8 cuz i think there needs to be more block moves.. sometimes his hand was the part blocking it too :) great job though!

I'm not going to rate this yet. I like the concept, but I tried it, and it seemed I was always performing a left leg block. Is that a bug, or was it just a coincidence?

Sef, that is a bug. Dont worry, I fixed it, and you dont get that problem anymore.
And monkeyonastring, I've added more blocking animations, now there is two for each body part.

No offense but i really see no need for, i mean i read just about all the comments and i still don't get the idea...i mean i didn't even know there was three default animations... ::Shrugs:: oh well, no offense but i think a saberist is really better of without this mod. because first of all it just improves the sights, and well that does jack crap (excuse my language) for me. anywho sorry for the negative comments, but next time just make it to where it blocks more, and yes i did try it and it didn't work out so well for me.

I'm gonna rate a 0, mainly because it does not do anything. I mean, to deflect, u have to look at the guy in the head. Dont you people ever read the manual? What's more, this makes the game too easy, as I had tried it just now without getting hit at all. Have you ever played Star Wars: TPH without getting hit by droid laser???

RavenBlade_53Posted: 03/20/02 04:18   Report Abuse
UltraD, the point of the Mod was to make your saber move to block according to where the laser is going. I think we've all figured out how to block lasers in JK by now. I liked the idea, but i'm giving it a 5, because it really needs to be part of a bigger mod.

I downloaded this hoping for a revolutionary blocking system but I was very dissapointed. I just do EXACTLY the same block every time.

Good idea, but pretty useless mod
