The Massassi Temple » Files » Jedi Knight Multiplayer Level
This is the first level I've created. It consists of two stories, each with 5 spheroids connected via thrust sectors. The first level connects with the second story also via thrust sectors. All surfaces are translucent, providing for a dizzying/confusing atmosphere. Probably not a good level for extended periods of play. Normal gravity has also been halved.Screenshots:

|Xak||Posted: 03/07/02 23:36 Report AbuseWell I actually made a level quite similar to this one a few months back and was thinking of releasing it yet didn't have the guts to do it. Well I can't say much for your texture choices but It is an interesting concept. I must salute you for putting this one out though.
PS: Mine didn't look to much better than this one anyways. :)
|_SL_Kyle||Posted: 03/08/02 00:22 Report AbuseIts makin me dizzy lookin at the screen shots but looks fun.|
|The_Divine_Shadow||Posted: 03/08/02 00:27 Report Abuseits a decent level, but you still really shouldnt release your first level.|
|GBK||Posted: 03/08/02 01:15 Report AbuseMuch better than my first level, but you still shouldnt have released it.|
|Pommy||Posted: 03/08/02 01:20 Report AbuseWhoa. WHOA. This reminds me of Skater Park, that really old super-colored psychedelic level. Except that one had even stranger texturing. It's pretty good for a first, better than what I could have made :)|
|Dark_Jedi_Yun||Posted: 03/08/02 04:16 Report AbuseWOW! Made me dizzy! Real Fun!
|BMorin||Posted: 03/08/02 05:37 Report AbuseLOL, who says a little constructive criticism doesn't hurt? It does help though, I promise I'll never relese my first level again! LOL...
About the textures: I was really just trying to find something that would produce the most nauseating effect, I guess it worked!
Thank you for any and all criticism though, I appreciate it. Hopefully I'll be able to come up with something better in the future.
|BMorin||Posted: 03/08/02 05:50 Report AbuseOne more thing...
I guess I wasn't too clear, this is the first level I've RELEASED.
Aside from going through most of the tutorials, it's my second... LOL ;-)
|MTBrain85||Posted: 03/08/02 17:51 Report AbusePeople why do you hate it when people release their first level? If a newbie created the greatest level jedi knight had ever seen and s/he said it was his/her first level you would probably give it a low rating because it was their first level. |
|Sith_Xanatos__||Posted: 03/08/02 18:51 Report AbuseI havn't tried the level yet, but the screenshots look decent enough... The reason why us people don't like releasing the first level because they usally suck so what is the point in playing it (but there are exeptions). Good try, but use different types of textures for a different level, and try original secrets. Sith_Xanatos__'s rating: 6|
|Modesitt||Posted: 03/08/02 19:45 Report AbuseIt earns a 6 from me.
Very cool looking level. Watch when you swing your saber, ESPECIALLY if your playing with something like SBX with saber trails. While the architecture is somewhat basic, it gets the job done.
One thing of note is that the sphereoids are ACTUALLY spheres and not boxes! w00t!
If you want something fun to do, lay mines down in the force sectors on the top level, they 'levitate' there. Firing rockets into them causes them to to ricochet backwards.
|Morpheus||Posted: 03/09/02 19:52 Report AbuseAHH, MY EYES!!!!!!!!!! I'M BLIND!!!!! (Morpheus is thankful that he isn't prone things like motion-sickness) I can see you put more effort into your first level the recently released author of "The Matrix" did, but still, do NOT release first-levels. (I confess it was bit better than my first level)|
