Description

This mod is a compilation of some of the best skins available, and one Bingu was kind enough to whip up for me. It also includes some Starsabers and a silver saber made by Wanderer. There will probably be updates to this mod every month or two as new skins come out. The main purpose of this mod is to put a lot of good skins in one file, instead of multiple files that may not be supported by a host. There’s the Absath skin, MotS Kyle, and a Dooku skin. I'll add to it and release updated versions occasionally. There are credits to all of the authors in the readme, and there’s a certain skin most Canadians might like, thanks Bingu.

woot a Jango Fett skin..Finally!!! but to bad he isnt wearing his cool helmet. The person who makes a Jango Fett skin with a helmet will be my god.

Good idea, but there are much nicer skins out there to put in a skin pack (no offence)

The sabers look nice, but I hope it doesn't replace any of the normal sabers. Do they look different also when the swing or does it look like the normal swipe? Btw, Absath skin looks sweet, someone should use it to make a Jango Fett...

1) Not Jango Fett or Boba Fett... there won't be a decent "Fett family" player skin/model until someone makes an actual Mandolorian armor MODEL!!! (should have shipped with JO)

2) Not a put down, just an opinion, but we need more original skins than "human guy in fairly plain armor" or "Kyle Katarn with different colored chest, arms, hair, etc." when I think of a new skin I think of somthing completely new, on par with the quality of the stock JO textures.

3) there are probably decent Q3 Fett models already out there, just needing to be converted & adding some animations for saber combat... if someone can get a worthy-for-fett model working I'd be happy to do a photo-realistic skin of multiple Fetts for everyone to enjoy...

Just wondering if i can get those new sabers separate from the rest of the pack. since i have a slower modem i'd rather not spend so much time downloading a bunch of skins that i probably wont use anyway.
But the idea for a new BFP type pack is very good, just too bad the file sizes for this game make it so much bigger. oh and as some1 asked earlier, i too wasnt clear on the detail of those new sabers replacing the old ones?

Yes, the sabers replace the default ones.
And no, they aren't available without the skin pack because it's a common project from Corran and me.

I'd personally like to select from user and default sabers for a generally good selection. If you showed what the sabers looked like in-game, it would be better that way, too.
Btw, could you release a mod that'll remove coloured lighting and the sparks/smoke when sabers crash? Raven didn't see that it's unfaithful to the movies and makes no sense :P.
Nice "Badass Canadian" skin. It'll be funny to see someone be whupped by whoever wears that.

There is a mandalorian model. Get it at www.jediknightii.net/files, or www.fileplanet.com.

Edit: Ego, if you copy them to your base folder, they will be in SP and MP, but the server also must have them in order for you to see them.
