Description

Changes the rolling animations with butterflies, backflips and cartwheels. It doesn't work perfect, but looks very cool. Have fun!

I love it. Even though you kind of slide after the moves, it adds great mobility to saber moves. i enjoyed playing with this on the ladder level and against desann.

Im tweaking the speed of the animations to make it look better(less sliding); I may release a 2nd version if you like it :D

ill give it a 8 too! this moves are so cool and nice work on th saber sound when you do side flip (it makes the sound even when saber is off)
and cool new taunt animation too. i hope you reliese a second version (this reminds me of kung-fu)

Very nice work, I really like the new moves, just too bad about the sliding, but it is a fixable problem, I'm sure. I hear people talking about new taunts, but I can't figure how to taunt. Help anyone.
This i really a mods that adds to the gaming experience when you use in the Ladder Level!!!!

Well, my work was less complicated than you think (copy&paste :D ), and I didnt put the saber sounds when you do a butterfly, they play with the animation.

to taunt open the console and type:

\bind x +taunt

where x is a key of your choice.

I give it an 8! Not hard work, but it's nifty! It's especially cool when the server has g_speed set to 200, which slows down all movement. The moves are much more believable.

This is a sweet mod! BTW is there a way to lower the camera like in Q3 where u just type in cg_thirdpersonheight [number here]? That command doesnt work in JO, so im asking if there is an alternative.

The command is cg_thirdpersonvertoffset or something like that, just type: "cvarlist *thirdperson*" and it will list you all the vars for the camera control.

LOL!!, yeah, when i did that move Kyle´s back made ¡¡CRACK!! and now I cant play Jedi Outcast anymore, i´ll have to buy the game again to get another Kyle... XDDD

Haven't dl'ed it yet, but it looks pretty cool. One thing i've been thinking about though, is it possible to have Kyle move his saber to not gouge it into the ground? this may be hard as Kyle will probably start whacking himself with it, but it would probably make the animations look alot cooler.

Hi ive dled several mods that change the rolls to butterfly twists etc. but none of them work.I did put them in the base folder and loaded a new map not a saved game but it still didnt work Kyle just did the same rolls. Do i have to bind a key or something? Any help would be appreciated.

Haven't downloaded this yet, but I plan to, right after typing this. Just one question to everyone. Would it be at all possible to set up a different set of moves (punches, kicks) while the lightsaber was holstered? Or even better, while the lightsaber was activated! Then you could get the full movie experience thingy.

There are my two cents.
Looking forward to the mod.

Very nice mod, tho in the forward roll when he kicks out his leg, it looks like it bends too far the wrong way, maybe its just me...

Great,
try and stop the sliding.
If you put this with a reborn skin in single player(if there are any reborn skins out there)
it would be good for making you'r own lvl now that you can use the reborn and jedi moves
BTW I gave you an 8, the sliding let you down a bit.

I give it an 8. The moves are great but two things bother me:

The forward roll replacement is too long. I can traverse most levels in 5 or 6 rolls using the forward roll alone.

The back hand spring is too short. The move is generally used for defensive purposes (by me anyway) and it doesn't seem to get you too far out of the way, which is ok for blaster fire but poor for splash damage (rockets, dets, etc.).
