I got kind of bored one day and was watching Saving Private Ryan so I figured why not make some WW2 skins (since I got a lot of grief about my first skin, the overused reborn model). All the textures, with the exception of the hands, are either brand new or retouched. The only thing that is different between skin colors is the helmet. I did this to reduce file size. I did the best I could with the Bespin Guard model to show pockets and straps, granted if I had 3d Studio Max I'd have done a better job with it. Have fun, play hard, and enjoy!

I like I like! That is very cool, but there is something about that second picture. It makes me think of peter pan.

It's probably the 'Peter-Pan-esque' pose he's in, as well as the rainbow-like pastel background.

Reminds me of teh Pater Pan man *shudder*

Hehehehe I guess I shoulda thought about that picture before submitting it. I was in a rush to get it in, my apologies.

But hey thats kinda funny seeing a solider flying like peter pan, and with a lightsaber to top it off. So i guess if your looking for a serious ww2 skin, just ignore pic #2 =O)

I gave you a nine, it's really good. Now make a german one. Luftwaffe of Heer, most likely, or maybe a Waffen SS. Not Almeinge SS. Almeinge was the Gestapo and Concentration campers. :(

It looks nice and all, But It does look heavy anuff.It looks Like peter pan! ehhe...not like it sucks but I dunno, It juss doesnt look right.Looks like Tights ya know? But other than that the deatail is great

Very nice but the uniform isnt VERY detailed. It looks very...light. I give it a 8 because I love WW2 and you obviously put effort into it (Not another reborn reskins)

great job. i think the face might be slightly too big but seeingas you already said you did the best as you could with the bespin model i won't nag you. keep up the great work 9

It's a well done skin, but I myself don't like to see non-Star Wars skins in a Star Wars game. I like what people are doing with aliens. jedi and movie characters and stuff but this just seems way too out of place.

one thing in screenshot 1, the orange diamond with the number should be a number betwine 1 and 4 there is no 8th ranger div. but other than that it looks awsome

Gave it a 10, great effort.

This is cool, bacause I recently made a Character for the Weird Wars RPG set in WWII... and He's a medic! Just like the guy you made.

I know, I know, different helmets, but it's still a medic uniform.

Awesome! The attention to detail adds alot to this, even though it doesn't QUITE meet up with the *PROFESSIONALLY MADE* RETAIL skins.. This is a great skin, while the outfit looks alittle "light" it's still very good. I especially like the helmet. I really look foward to your future work! Maybe a german soldier? ;-)

I like the hat. Its quite cool. But is it me? Or are these skins straight out of Medal of Honor or Return to Castle Wolfenstien?

If it is could you please inform us that you used these skins next time. Keep on skinning people

Nah I didn't rip it from anygame, if I did I would have said so, hence "either new or retouched". I did however take some images from the movie and worked with a bit, but no, I didnt rip anything from another game, or another persons work except from JO itself, and as far as I know, that's alright to do, please remove this file if I am mistaken. So ease up bro, enjoy the skin :)

Don't listen to those comments about taking from RtCW or MoHAA. That happened once with a Wehrmacht(Nazi) version of Galak. Have any of you played those games? Does not look like it. I own them both and this looks NOTHING like them. So shut your mouth if you don't know. Nice skins though needs some work. 7/10

I like the effort, it looks really nice so I give it a 9, but I have a few comments relating to details...

The uniform is too dark, if it's a khaki (OD#3) uniform it should be lighter, if he's supposed to be wearing HBTs it should be more a shade of green. Not that many people care, but there you are...

Throughout World War 2 troops were issued low cut boots and wore leggings over them,the boots were brown and not black. That and the uniform color really stands out.

Other than that, if you want to add more detail you can make the pouches on the cartridge belt stand out more, give it a canteen and first aid kit, and put an entrenching tool hanging off the cartridge belt. You might want to put in a haversack instead of the suspenders also, usually suspenders were worn with a pistol belt instead of a cartridge belt. Is that thing hanging on his hip a holdet by the way? From the angle I can't really tell. Oh, yeah, 8th rangers never existed but that's not too important. Anyway, it was a great overall skin, I give it a 9

Ok, heres there deal. Soliders had all there gear only their backs. Maybe add that? And, take some texture files from MOHAA(which is on Quake 3 engine too) and Make the helmets stick out onb their heads so that they don't look like spandex on their heads. They also had A-vests on(assault vests). Next time do some research on stuff on it. Someone should make a weapons kin pack for WWII. BAR, Colt .45, Tompson, M-1 Gernade, M1 Grande. That would be cool. And make a Omaha, DOG-Green Sector Map. With Mg42's and stuff. Morters. Skin that Anti-Aircraft gun in first level in SP to a 20 MM cannon. Ohh well.None of that will happen.

One more thing. Take the "helmets" off and give them a short mohawk on their heads and War-paint Like the 101st Airborne did on June of the 5th, 1944. Maybe dedicate it to VETS?

alrite u used Galak but u completly changed his look i give it 8/10

BTW he looks more like... a Mr. Princess Pirate than a US WWII soldier. They were tough, this guy looks like a cream-puffy pushover
