Description

This is a mod I designed myself, skins made by notepad and mats made with mat16 & Paint (mats for projectiles). You play as Ryle Vatern (Weird name huh?) and go on the same quest as kyle did to stop jerec, only you use a sword I call the Z-Sword, even though it looks nothing alike. In the future there will be DBZ skins and more moves to fight with and a flying move to fly around with, in the meantime....the guys in this mod need a little training to fly, they know their attacks...now they need to fly.

As a note, I do not want anyone inspecting the cogs cause I have copyright limits to this. Have fun fighting DBZ-Style!

How can you copyright anything? Its all owned by LucasArts when you use there engine, according to terms of service. Saying "Dont look at the cogs!" will just have people looking at them. If you do NOT want people to USE the cog, you can put in the readme file "Authors may NOT use..." at the bottom, according to terms of service agreement. But you can't stop someone from looking at a cog.

I think you should have based it more off of DBZ. A sword doesn't really fall in accordance with DBZ.

Couldn't you at least have gotten a screenshot of the version that you actually released, instead of putting text on saying that you changed it since that screenshot? If I had to judge your work by your screenshots (which I DO use your screenshots to decide whether it's worth my time to download) then I'd have to assume you're too lazy to actually do the job properly.
As such, I won't be downloading this. No rating.

Actually, If you write the cog from scratch, I think you can copyright it. Same goes for levels built from scrath.

The comment section is designed to allow people to post thier thoughts on levels. If these thoughts happen to be criticism, make sure it's constructive. Comments like "this level sucks" are not wanted. Constructive criticism only.

Give the guy a break. This is probably one of his first mods and none of you can say your first mod was perfect.

Well first off, its better than what I could do, but don't let these guys get you down...work on it some more and make it better...eventually you'll have a great mod.

Some suggestions:

1. Get REALLY great screenshots. I cannot stress enough how much people judge your level by SS's ONLY.

2. Make it a little bit more true to the show or whatever you're basing it off of, this is why whenever i TRY and create something, I make it an original work, so that flamers have nothing to compare it to.

3. Never, I mean NEVER stop editing, don't ever let one of the "fanous flamers" ground your spirits, its YOUR mod make it the way YOU want

well... author, u shoulda said i took the Z-Sword from the DBZ series. u cannot say that u called the sword the Z Sword when its originally called that in the shows. for updates, i suggest workin on movements for the Ki attacks along with the skins... and also do research on DBZ b4 u claim somethin

Considering he did a lot of it in notepad (like the models) I think its pretty damn good.

I'd give it a 10 for doing better than me, but i took off five because i want somebody to come out with a DBZ mod for JO instead of JK for once(i don't want to be the first). So, i give a five.

Hey, this is my first post and i would like to say that i am glad someone is finnaly making another DBZ mod!

i am a big fan of the show and the mod is done quite well. just keep working like this and you should get pretty good in no time.

Trunks had a sword when he fought the Anroids (The history of Trunks) and also when he cam back in time to help Goku (Trunks Saga)

Gohan also had the "Z sword" even though he broke the sword it still played a big part of the Buu Sagas.

I give this mod a 10. A perfect 10.

But, I have to take a few points off...

1 point for his hair not being yellow.
1 point for not giving him a new suit.
1 point for releasing it with all the bugs.
1 point for the stupid Scooby name.

and 5 points, because this mod didn't include a skin of Natalie Portman.

This mod is really good. the only thing is yu took the sword from ninja kage 7. Oh and um make it so you punch and really fast. i gave it a ten anyways for the effort.

His hair isn't yellow? Dude it's only yellow when they go into Super Saiyan mode. Wait, that's a great idea! If you put in a Super Saiyan mode then have his hair turn yellow and have all that aura stuff around him for a few seconds when it's activated.

Very interesting dude like the skins but wtf where is the regular skins from DBZ, you should have added them with the others then maybe people would like it, i liked it sorta but you cant fly which sucked, the weapons were a nice tough but dude you need to work on your skills more, i would personally like to most likely recuit you as one of my mod makers but i would have to see yours skills go through the roof. Well get working on the next one.
