Blades of Death II

The Massassi Temple » Files » Jedi Outcast Multiplayer Level

This is a remake of the classic (but sadly overlooked) level from Jedi Knight (and my personal favorite of the bunch). This level is 90% accurate to the original. The map is good for up to 8 players (map may support more if desired). Level supports both FFA, Team FFA, Holocron Match, and Jedi Master. Level also has bot support as well (note: the bots aren't perfect but are decent enough for good fragging). Have fun fragging your friends and look out for the BLADES OF DEATH!

Kickass! I allways loved this level, and I believe this to be a good remake.

BLADES OF DEATH! :D *clicksave* Finally, now all we need is a CO remake... ]:] Wait, that will only promote more of those crappy Canyon Oasis ripoff remakes... nevermind.

Dude, sweet. I always play BoD when I play JK. This remake looks even cooler with the lighting and whatnot.

If there was an CO remake of this quality, we'd be set.

Cool. I like it, espeicaly the textures. I thought the bot's kinda had a little trouble in this.... I think next time you should keep it nice and simple.... The big hole in the ground, i didn't like even though this level is based upon it.

Pretty cool I actually like this remake. The original was lacking mainly because of the game itself.

It's a good level, I don't dispute that but there are a few things that are inconsistent.

First, when you hit the switches to access the lower levels, you have to go in and use the elevators. In the original, the fan stopped (or did it slow down?) and you dropped down through the fan shaft.

There are a couple clipping problems on the corners in the upper levels where the corner appears to slant up and away from the wall at an angle but your character bounces off the open spot instead of going through it.

There seems to be an overwhelming amount of E-11s and energy cells in comparison to other weapons.

I usually take a point off for each thing I think is wrong, but the amount of detail offsets one point and the transparent floor makes up for another one. I could see a game where people duel on the bridge above the fan while people watch from above. I give this level a 9.
