Description

This is a large multiplayer level. It has secrets and traps and is good for Saberistists and gunners. It has cameras and a few surpises. This is another of my first attempts at making levels.

It is Good for 2-15 players.

NOTE: The following sounds alot like a "this level sucks" comment, but it really isn't, I assure you. Follow the suggestions I give and you will be on your way to a better level.

-----------------------------

Unfortunately, I can't rate this. My conscience prevents me from rating levels I haven't played. It also prevents me from downloading levels that, frankly, stink.

Why don't you look at some tutorials (http://www.massassi.net/tutorials.php) to learn how to make levels that go beyond mis-textured boxes?!?

Since I'm on the topic, why did you release these in the first place?!? As a guideline: if your levels are not as good as original LEC levels, don't send them in. If you think they are or aren't sure, ask a second opinion of someone. A friend who will be frank with you is best. Or, try the showcase forum (http://forums.massassi.net/, click on Showcase Forum) and ask for opinions there (we are very vocal and frank).

I was nice the first few times I commented on a less-than-spectacular level, but c'mon, these levels should not be sent in the first place.

I mean, really, what is the point of sendiing in these levels? What do you really think it will accomplish?

A fat, boring, badly-textured, BOX. 'Nuff said.

I certainly see some effort. I can also clearly see that this is your first level. Practice makes perfect, I suppose. Keep working on it.

I'm really out of practice on JED... however, that doesn't even look like work made in JED!!! I could be wrong, but if you're using JKEDIT, STOP!!!! Also, think out of the box, use orginal textures, make sure they match, make sure you follow your theme, and NO BOXES. It kills a level. I have 10,000+ levels I made just to get the hang of things. I have released just one level, and got a rating of 8, and I earned that out of hard work. Practice, then release.

This level, much like the other one you posted, it absolutely terrible. I'm not sure what you're doing now, but I'd advise you to take these steps:

1) Ditch JKEdit. Get JED. Learn to use it and you'll never look back.

2) Avoid using JK's standard textures whenever possible.

3) When making a level based off something, actually have some idea of what your source looks like.

4) Don't release a map you wouldn't want to download/play yourself.
