Borg Oasis

Description

This is a Canyon Oasis assimilated by the Borg. Whether you are a Trekker or not, this level may still be of interest. I have adapted the level for more gun battles; the level now consists of weapons with unlimited ammo. Concrifles, Fullshields, and Bactatanks are now more abundant in key areas of the level. As for the level itself, it has a few modifications to it other than it's looks. You can also hear the Borg "chanting" in the background of some areas.

I recommend you play this level with 2-8 people.

I would like to also add this is my first attempt at a modified level.

Hmm moding Pre-made Levels is a no no,

But I did git a borg feeling while playing, so I give you a 3 for effort,

Not bad. I got a feel for it, but it still seems a bit bland. I give it a 7. Keep working, and try making a new level instead of editing presets. And Wolf, that is a sad, and untrue comment.

Ignore the stupidity that is "Wolf Devil". Points for effort, but as it's that crappy green First Contact Borg stuff, I deducted some as well.

Whats with you guys, this level owns in many ways:

1. Its JK
2. Its Oasis
3. Its not JO so its elite
4. And for the final one, its time to grow up kiddies, and go make some friends in the real world.

I'm not going to rate this. This level, although you spent time on it, is a waste to anyone who plays it. First, if there are abundent amounts of weapons, ammo (unlimited), and stockpiles of health powerups, the game becomes less about skill, that lessened my experiance.
Plus, the green is incredibly distracting, and the retexturing could have been done better. The borg chant was cool though..:)

I know the Borg like green lights and all, but this looks like I'm playing on a Commodore 64 screen. ;) Maybe if you added a little more darkness and a little less light, it'd be more Trekish.

Okay, I could make this in five minutes. All you did was change a few textures, change the colormap and call it borg.

Please people, be orginal! So many ideas are out there, yet to be discovered. Check the high scoring levels to see what I mean. Go through all low scoring levels to see why they scored low, and stay away from that.

On top of that, don't take this the wrong way, I don't want you to be discoraged, just kinda enlightened. Just don't give up.

I guess everyone get to have thier own oppinions, even if they are sexist like Wolf Devil are. Ignorant men should not be allowed to post, let alone speak.

Anyway the level is good. All I could suggest has been said, a little darker and a little less green.

WhiteLightsaber Oasis is the best level to edit, have you ever heard of JI Oasis or Merc Oasis? their the most played Oasis remakes in JK who cares if its original its Oasis

HEY! Girls can be just as good as guys in video games ....especially JK...I got rooked by a girl awhile back. Secondly..ok..CO is just plain boring after awhile..if there's still people that enjoy it then by all means...but some people don't.therefore we have right to express opinion..also there is nothing extremely significant to this level that would seperate it from any other CO level that was attempted. A note to the author..try to make your own level and try to use more than a few textures..even if they are just plain, try to differentiate in what you do and how you use them. Originality is somthing alot of people like in a MP level.

lol I liked this level it did make me think I was in a borg area... but since all you did was just change an already made level I only gave you a 5 I also hate CO modifications so meh.

well im not going to rate it and creativity and realism should be worked on in hte level and just about every other one...
