Description

Now you can play a real game of chess with others in JK. You will need to have TEAM PLAY on for the chess game to work. RED team moves the WHITE pieces and GOLD team moves the BLACK pieces. To move pieces just activate the piece you want to move and then the square you want it to move to and the piece will move there. To take another piece just activate that piece instead of a square. There are more instructions in the Read-me, so I strongly urge that you read that.

You my friend get a 10!!!!!!! It was a fully function chess set!!!!! WOW!!!! Usually you have to push em around urself! lol! Your cog skills are unrivaled! The only two things I didn't like was the lack of ammo and theres no checkmate detection. Keep up the GREAT work!

Nice cogging dude. Makes my tic tac toe and plinko look like preschool mini-games. Perfect 10. You went a totally different route then I was going with my chess cogs.

Its nice to know that you guys like it.
It took me a long time to finish it because i kept messing up my cogs.
Was kind of funny when i started out, id activate one piece and a piece on the other side of the board moves.
Once i turned the piece move speed up too high and it zoomd across the board hit me and killed me.
It was fun to make. Thanx for the comments.

I give this a 9.5, AMAZING. The only thing that was bad was that no one could win, it didnt detect check mate, it would just say ur king cant move anywhere... Other than that, AMAZING, totally original, and this is an instant classic. Now all i sugguest is more levels, more people make new levels, like a life size one that you click sitting down in a chair and stuff, or a big one like that, but animate the chess peices, like they fight (sorta like wizards chess in harry potter)....Hey that would be cool, if someone made a wizards chess board, infact if someone did, I would be grateful. That would be really cool! Anyways, this level is great, please dont quit, expand on this and make it even better, this level ROCKS.

i had thought about making the pieces fight when you kill a piece but im not good at making people 3dos or key animations.
i did want to make more levels where you play in different places but at first i wasnt sure if you people would even like to play chess in jk. i could make more but i need ideas of what the levels should look like.

A great game within Jedi Knight! Excellent concept! This reminds me of an old game called, me thinks, Armageadon. My memory is fuzzy but I remember different moves with the chess peices put you into various battle modes of some kind off of the actual chess board.

Yes, it would be very cool to have different styles of chess board peices (and u could change the level according to peices)

1) Classic Chess (basically this level/peices)

2) Jedi Chess (In the jedi council room with all the jedi council's seats and the chessboard in the middle, with Jedi peices, like yoda for king on the white side, and like emporer palpatine on the black side for the king)

3) Wizards Chess (Gryffindor common room, wizard chess peices)

4) Any other cool themes/levels would rock, this could be COOL if you continued this. :)

Hey, great level! I went into it with rather low expectations and came out in awe. My only complaint is that there is nowhere to hid from my brother when I take out his queen! *evil grin* But I agree that it's a little set-back that it doesn't detect a check-mate.

The reason that i didnt put a checkmate detection system in is because there are so many ways for the king to get in and out of check that it would have taken a long time for the game to figure out if the king is in checkmate.
If you know it is checkmate then the host can go activate the END GAME console and stop the game and the timers.

Wow, very nice! Hehe, Ober took one of the levels on massassi and made a life-size chess set. Cept, you had to use the build cogs to move a peice. And the peices were people. This is JUST what we needed! ^.^

AMAZING! 10/10 But, I don't like how you can't move any piece other than the King when your in check...

OneOhWorst: i dont know why it would do that i never had that problem while making it. does it happen all the time or just every once and a while?

stickystuf: you should be able to move other pieces but that move has to get the king out of check. if no other piece can block the check or kill the piece doing the checking then the king has to move. thats just the way chess is.

OMg all it is is 3D chess i can download this sure it 3D but i can download the ture 3D chess i give it a 4 for a good try but 3d chess has all rdy come and besides who would want to play hess on Jedi knight when they can play it on the zone its just the same thing

P.S. It's nice to know that im not the only one who likes fly-field-light ;) heck, it might be just an extracted cog and gets lots of flack on being too simple, but im happy i didnt have to do it myself (im too lazy).

i can send you the level but that field-light-fly cog isnt in the level its just something that i use while makeing and testing levels to get around.
