The sequel to my previous JK SP episode "Dark Emperor." This is an eight-level episode that contains lots of features. I pretty much have the same feelings about this level as I did for Dark Emperor 1. It was a good challenge and its not a level that you can sit down and beat in 15 minutes. I also like how you fail the mission if you don't do what the objectives say. I got totally confused when it said that I had failed the mission and had to restart it. The last level for me was the most challenging. I found it sort of hard to defeat Sarris and then battle Kyle. I reccomend quick saving before you battle Sariss and do the same for when you battle Kyle.

Despite it's occasional touch of greatness, I was disappointed with this level. Poorly chosen voice actors and an "over-the-top" plot took the Star Wars aspect from it. Nevertheless, it has a few refreshing ideas, and can provide an hour or two of fun. If you can handle the download size, download it, but don't expect anything ground-breaking here.

I thought the levels were most exquisite and the graphics were nicely textured. I only Incountered a few complications. One of which was the voices they needed more time and effort, but other than that a most successful level.
*NOTE: The secret level was no challenge to find.

After the pretty good first series, I was very dissapointed with this pack. I simply don't beleive it has that many downloads either...

This ain't a bad level. The last level, fighting Sariss and Kyle, took me forever to beat. After a few days of trying, I used red5 and jediwannabe, and it [i]still[/i] took forever to beat Kyle...

I was very dissapointed with these levels , the story line is pathetic and even though the levels themselves are done well , I cannot stand having to sit around watching really bad cut scenes with bad bad voice actors and even worse lines . If you ever eant to do another level pack then give me a call , and I'll write your story line for u if u want!

I was amazed at this episode pack. The work that was put into it was just great but the voices were I think a bit lame. But when it came with the voice of luke I kind of liked it. This is a must get and while your at it get a mad called "ss3guns4.gob" Its at a site that massassi has for a link. SavageX's site. Good site so if you want some good single player levels, this is what to get.

I thought this was a good episode... I truly have to agree about the voice actors though, and even some of the lines... Overall I thought the levels were good, I also liked it that when in one of the levels, that you either end up fighting Maul or not...

I'm downloading this right now, and It'll most likely be the first level I've played without cheats for a Loooooooooooooooooong time :) So its after kyle is dark, not light. Sounds cool!

I liked this level for the most part. It could have used MUCH MUCH MUCH better actors, yet the level was well made. I think anyone with some time on their hands should download this. Nothing special in my opinion, just good old fasioned fun.

I did the storekeeper voice. I made the voice a little louder , so it could sound like an middle-age adult. Or were i just stupid who did that? Did you think i did a good job???

THIS IS A VERY GOOD LEVEL INDEED!WITH ALL THE VOICES AND SOUND EFFECTS ITS REALY COOL!
THE ONLY THING I TRULY HATE IS THE WHOLE ENDING SEQUNCE IT IS VERY BORING!WELL FIRST OF YOU HAVE TO SIT THERE AND WAIT AS SARISS BATTLES OBI-WAN WITCH TAKES FOREVER THEN ONCE YOU BEAT DARK KYLE HE DOSENT DIE! HE GETS TURNED TO THE LIGHT SIDE COME ON!

No, these are NOT good levels. The cutscenes suck, the voice actors are bad (it might have been a bad microphone, I dunno) and the frame rate is usally 25+ (I usally get around 15.) I had about 20 game crashes while playing. I do not reccomend these levels. But do get dark emperor 1, that was cool.

this adventure was the second best of all the adventures i downloaded. the bonus level in this small game is very weird but fun to play. the level before the last level has alot of enemys and im telling you there is ALOT OF ENEMYS. THIS IS A FUN GAME! DOWNLOAD IT NOW.

I liked the secret level best and if you could do an whole episode that has only that kinda levels and crazy stuff like a bus that moves as fast as a bullet and the character should be a tramp who has a ship and a gun for protection.

Alright, I liked the first part of this sequel, but you should have left it alone. There just wasn't good enemy placement in a few of the levels. Also, I found some of the levels to be difficult to find the keys and other goals without cheating, and I normally can figure out what to do. Further more, too much was tried in the level (such as the ressurections of Darth Maul and Obi-Wan Kenobi, I'm sorry, but that was too much to put in).

The levels were ok but the cutscenes and the voices were simply horrible. And the ending was pretty cheesey. i gave it a 5

I really like this episode, my favourite bit being where Luke comes back as a ghost, that looks sweeeet. My biggest criticism is that the voiceovers are a little hard to hear and/or understand at times, but the subtitles make up for that. Overall a cool mod.

Overall pretty good. The levels need some editing though along with the script. Otherwise, great job.

PROS: Alright, the levels were okay, esp. the secret one, the environments weren't that bad, and there were some neat features like the doors opening outward instead of sliding that didn't need to be added but are cool.

CONS: The lighting was terrible, COMPLETELY dark in some places, totally light in places, but overall dim and no good. (except on the Secret Level) The storyline had potential, but the author ruined it with nothing short of CORNY cutscenes. The voices of Kyle ("The villiage and the ancient TOMB!") was the worst, followed by the voice of Leia, who sounded like she had a stopped up nose, then the main character, and the best was Luke. However, some of the lines had awful grammar, like Luke said, "Do you know who's the Emperor?"

So, if you are looking for a fun and funny level for kicks, I advise you get this one. The secret level was extremely fun, well worth the download. But if you are looking for a serious level with a deep storyline, good cutscenes, quality editing, etc., RUN AWAY!!!

Dude! I'm just downloadin this right now! So I'd like to give a hint to all the other people giving comments here........don't freakin give the level away w/ your comment. The first guy said something like battling Kyle and I was like da#$! I didn't want to know that.........oh well, I'll see for myself if this SP package is worth downloading in a few minutes. THe voice acting was really terrible because they didn't sound like the charactors. I like the idea of a secret leval in it. This was a ok leval.

The voice over for Obi Wan sounded like some drunken French dobbin, I couldnt understand a word of it. It was a fair couple of levels. Not great but thoroughly enjoyable.
I never actually completed it. What happens? What cutscene is played?

This level just butchered the whole point of the dark ending. It showed that he was the ruler of the galaxy. If you do some research you'll find out that the Valley of the Jedi had the power to destroy planets. Katarn controlled a whole new Empire. Sarris would be his Darth Vader. Thousand of Star Destroyers and billions of troops are at his command. That was a small rebellion it implied - like 2 kids who were slicer wannabes. The voices were decent but Kyle's was terrible. He sounded like an angry child with a speech impediment. Then there was the fact that the rebels kept going on and on about their only underground mine. Then the Imperial guards pikes could stop lightsabres. I could go on with errors but I haven't played it in over a year.

Just like its prequel, I gave this series a 6. Although there were no superfluous levels in this series, the poor voice-overs during the cutscenes, the pie-in-the-sky storylines involving Obi-Wan and Darth Maul, and the poorly developed end sequence all contributed to the series being an overall underdeveloped piece. In my view, voiceovers, if done, should be done well or not at all. The silly voices combined with the yet again resurrection of past characters and the abrupt ending with Kyle turning back to the light side just doesn't cut it. However, I did admire the fact that battling Kyle Katarn was one of the toughest conflicts I have ever fought. Ordinary characters such as Jerec and Darth Maul pale in comparison to the awesome array of force grips and seemingly endless barrage of force destructions channeled by Dark Kyle. In terms of final battle, this series by far contains the toughest opponent. Other than that and a satisfactory design in architecture, Dark Emperor II, like Dark Emperor I, fell below a perfect score.

'Tis a really well done level.... it's really funny and can be appreciated even by accanite fraggers even by accanite puzzlers or saberists... the new enemies were really good , it's not the same for the cuts... a bit lame, and some models like the Sdestroys' ones weren't so good... like some internal ambients. The complex is a well done pack with some good piece of narration and challenge. The texturing was really good in some levels like the architechture, this made me think you left this project for .. say... a month in which you learnt some more JED editing and used all in the last levels(really beutiful levels with good cogging , texturing and architechture) too bad you didn't choose to improve some of the first levels ex. the Star Destroyer..
This pack had potentials and a I give it a 6 but with some improvements it could be a full 9 pack... nice try... keep doing levels... you have really potential. Amen

This was the 2nd level I ever dloaded, ah those were the days. I really liked it, it had a solid story line and the author made an effort, although the voices could have been a bit more, beleivable. (like the obi wan voice sounded like some jap student)

The voices were okay but some of them sounded realy messed up but I thought it was a good challange all around. The story need some work to but next time I suppose.

Of what I've seen of this level, I like it. It's hard to explain exactly what I really like about this level, but somehow I find the low-techness of it pleasing. However, I was unable to finish it because it would not let me restart the first Coruscant level- you know, the one right after it tells you to insert Disk 2? So whenever I died, I had to restart all the way from the level before, so I never really could finish that level. If anyone knows any way that I can get that to work, I would love to finish the level- then I could rate it :)

Nice effort, but these levels are far too easy, aside from the ridiculous you vs. 24 or more stormtrooper battles. The voice overs might be tolerable if 1)The text was spelled correctly at all(which never occurs), and, 2)If the lines weren't so stupid.

"The stormtroopers suck because the Emperor doesn't want to train them."

"Ahh! I'm scared of dying!"

This sounds like it was written by a ten year old. Poor grammar and poor spelling.

Why does the Lambda Shuttle become an escort shuttle when it flies through space?

"The empire only owns two star destroyers now. You have disabled one of them. You have done good works for the rebel alliance."

"I'm getting stuck into the star destroyer!"

pretty nice mod, but the voices sucks a little.

Bug report in the Rebel Base in Valley of the Jedi:
- When I kill all stormtroopers in the big cave, the computer crash.
- When I pick up the red star near the cliff, the comp crash.
- In the same area, when I turn around the cliff, go under a corridor and arrive in another area, the comp crash.

Once again i gave this a 7. A nice follow up to the 1st one. Worth the download, ignore the large size, its well worth it, especially if you like playing with Kyle's "darker side".

So many comments. Well, I definately have to agree with the voices and the lines...they weren't too good. The challenge was good. I'm giving this a 7, cause a sequel is better than nothihng. It wouldn't hurt to re-release this level with better voices and a better ending... I mean really, Kyle turning back to the light side? I think he did that just to not get killed...ha, a coward's move. This was okay...

Great levels!!!! This is one of the best episodes I've ever played. Anyway, I'm pretty young and I got to the end of the episode. I also liked the cutscenes. I might want to learn how to make them. I'm a pretty good voice maker so I might make my own voices for the cutscenes. My favourite level was the Valley of the Jedi Resurrection Center. So great ideas and thanks for the level.

P.S.: Maybe a Dark Emperor 3 would be cool, too.

Nice level pack, but the voice acting could have been better. I also think that the grammar could have been improved. Don't get me wrong, though! Aside from the voice acting and text, it was a magnificent level! It was challenging and fun at the same time, and it was definitely worth the download.

Being one of the voice actors for this i feel that there has been a misjustice for those who partook in this!

Luke Skywalker/Darth Maul is not from the USA or UK so english isn't his primary language.

His attempt a good grammar was good, but voice actors from those countries mentioned above have to stick to the script, it wouldn't make sense if the words coming up on the screen didn't match the vocal accompaniment.

It was a great attempt by Darth Maul and he should make a sequel!

WOW!nice level! the storyline was great and i liked how u had to do the actual mission objectives or u would fail and have to restart. i give it a 9!
BTW: why wont somebody mak a level where u control Yoda.....hes the coolest.

Considering how much effort the author probably put into these levels, some of these comments are quite nasty...

The levels played nicely, and it was interesting to see rare touches such as being able to fail objectives along with some attempt at a story...

To be honest, the only thing that brought this level down was the simply awful plot along with bad bad cutscene grammar and voice acting (apart from maybe Luke Skywalkers...).

These levels are worth downloading if you have the time, good playability :)

I found the voice actors for these levels to be detestably lilliputive. However, the storyline is actually quite engrossing if it were not for the extraordinarily boring cutscenes and the clunky lines. I gave this mediocre performance a 6.

This level kept shutting down the game after loading up the second level, so I will grade what I saw. Exelent first level. It was confusing at first. but I got through the level. In a second run, I ran into the stromtrooper base. I turned on the invulnerable cheet so I could live another day and I dexcovered that seceret level. Very tricky. I liked the seceret level. It was cool. The cutceanes were nice. I must admit, some of the guys sounded as if they were constipated, which was fun to watch. I think you could have gotten a better Star Destroyer. There are plenty of them out there. I LOVED what you did for the ghost Luke scene. He was cool. All in all, BIG improvement! 8 out of 10 from me!

Exellent! I wanted to try out the level again and it worked just fine, so I am herby revising my review.

Levels one was easy. However, it got comphensated for setting up a good story line. Like I said in my last review, it was funny watching the cutsceanes because it sounded like they were constipated. There are better Star Destroyers out there, but it was still a good show.
The second level was a little difficult. It wasn't easy to destroy all of the Imperial's, and it took me a try or two. Level three was awsome! The Star Destroyer was neat! One of the best insides of a Star Destroyer I have ever seen. The gunmen were cool, but it was hard to find them all. Level four was hard. The cutsceane was nice though. Level five had good arcitecture. It was cool moving through the canyons. Then you got to the spot where Luke was killed. You got to pick up his saber! It was a nice little perk to the whole thing. Level six was, well, manotunus. How do you get through that temple? After trying for half an hour, I used the Thereisnotry cheat and continued to the next level. I didn't take points off because I had something to do soon. Level seven was cool. The sideways elevator was fun to watch. It was a little long, but hey! What do you expect in such a big city? Level eight was challenging. Esspecially at the end. The seceret level was cool also. A seceret level is something most single player adventures don't offer. This level had seceret area's, nice cutsceanes, and good skin's. I assume he got them from BFP. Hopefully with permission. For the first time ever, "Dark Emporer 2:The last of the Jedi" gets a 10 out of 10. Big Improvement!

I had a funny feeling that this level was going to be as challenging as the last Dark Emporror the only thing I didn't like were the voices it was a pretty neat idea but a few times it didn't sound like the people were in to it or acting like the characters like the Commando in the first cutscene it sounded like he was just saying it! Cool Music you did great composing it! Overall I say it deserves a 9. Great Job!

this level is me and my frends favorit. the voices was a great idea. but im not so sure about the secret level.i give it a 9. great music epaly for the beging cut scene and i liked the cammando2's voice in the cut sene in the first level.

This was pretty good I loved how you changed the menu backgrounds, very cool. the levels were interseting and a good difficulty. on the other hand the story ,writing and voice acting was cheesy. but then I don't play user levels for story.

Long cutscenes, or simply cutscenes in the middle of a level or not good. They detract from the gameplay.

This was way better than Dark Emperor 1.
The GOB file added to it was also a great addition.
Humurous cutscenes, and good leveldesigning. I rated it a 10.
