I made the launcher for this. YOU WILL DOWNLOAD IT AND SPEND ALL YOUR TIME AWEING THE SIMPLICITY OF THE LAUNCHER. Then you will play Party Crasher and love it.

Speaking of which, I'm off to play it now.

Level is a bit dark, and the Episode 1 soundtrack didn't seem to fit exceptionally well, but it was better than no music. The soundtrack of choice for the final bit of the level before the credits was meh... I dunno. :p Stereotypical, maybe.

And I think Mace would be smarter than to shout out I AM LOOKNG FOR A JEDI in a crowded cantina... hehehe.

However, the environments are top notch and dynamic, color scheme was great, scripted events were carried out well, and overall I thought it was a much better use of my time than doing my homework. 9/10.

There are some SERIOUS problems in the map that will kill performance on older computers.

I was completely unable to fix these before release as I couldn't get the map compiled. Q3Map2 just causes a horrible texture error, and I left SOF2Map compiled for eight hours, when I came back it was still on the BSP stage.

It seems like it was yesterday when we were all eagerly awaiting the release of this level.... wait not it doesn't, it seems like it has been much longer.... two years to be precise! But regardless of the wait, the level was still very well done.

The level architecture was very well done. The outdoor bits were really nice to look at. The lighting however seemed to be a bit off. The outdoor environments are lit rather nicely and are full of color, but in contrast many of the indoor parts were too dark to really identify anything. This might have been done intentionally to give these particular moments a darker atmosphere, but I found myself at the point of changing the brightness in the game, which in turn made the outdoor lighting seem like a nice summer's day.

However, the game ran rather smooth on my computer and I didn't run into any of the graphical problems that were mentioned previously. The only problem I had was in the difficulty of the last boss... but then maybe I just suck at dueling. Oh and by the way the cheats don't seem to work on this level.... not that I tried or anything....

I found this level to be the most exciting and well put together level of any of the Jedi Outcast levels. This was due to the many small details that this level contained. There are many humorous moments scattered here and there to make it really feel like one of Piggott's levels. Even the story itself is fairly engaging. (In fact the only level that could possibly match the same story quality would be one of those ladder levels!)

I give this a 9/10.

The only thing that would have persuaded me to give this less than a nine was that it ran at around 4 fps on my machine. But that only happened in a very few places, it still ran slower than normal, but still playable.

Other than that, pure awesome. I couldn't wait to play it when I saw the first screenshots of it.

9/10

As soon as a heard this had come out I downloaded it. The only problem I had was a slow fps but once I got through the starting area the fps started to pick up a bit! A great lvl as always AK Piggott!

This lvl could be continued because the cult leader mentioned going to Coruscant.

I'm very disappointed in how this level turned out, as I had planned so much more. I had to hold a lot of stuff back, and remove things I'd already added as I had reached some sort of entity limit that would cause the level to crash near the end. It was because of this, and the fact that several beta testers reported massive performance problems that I had decided to trash it. But now that technology has moved on a little bit, the performance problems aren't quite as severe as they would have been had I released it two years ago.

I'm really glad to see people are enjoying it because, as disappointed as I am in it, it still took nine months of hard work to get it to the stage that it's actually at. Thanks to all who voted it a "level of the week", hard to believe it's been four years since I held that distinction.

My next level is going to be something to watch out for. Even at its current early stage, it feels like a more complete package than this one.

"This lvl could be continued because the cult leader mentioned going to Coruscant."

I had a sequel planned that was set on Coruscant, but I won't be making that now.

I am so glad you made another level Piggot. Ive always loved your levels and I am glad you have kept at it for so long. I will download it as soon as I get to a connection other than dial up. As for the problem in your BSP stage, it sound like detail brush problems to me. Maybe you should add some more next time? IDK but thanks for another level to add to the archive.

Holy crap man, I loved this level so much... Jeez. I laughed when I saw the George Lucas bar tender. That was the best. It was also very visually nice. I enjoyed how you used the purples to integrate with the Mace theme.

The architecture and premise are pretty cool, but, sorry to say, the voice acting (namely Rodians) killed it a lot. Mace Windu's voice actually sounded pretty accurate though. Good job on the casting :] The quality of the voice recordings was very low and distorted, however. In addition, the running back and forth got a little tedious, but then again, you weren't able to finish it really. Perhaps splitting it into 2 or 3 maps would've done the trick; I don't mind a little loading time now and then, since the main SP game is like that.

Rating: 7

P.S. I had no problems with EAX enabled.

ShadowX: Yeah, the Rodian voices are just something I threw together quick a couple of years ago that I never bothered improving on. As for splitting the level, I wish I could have, it would've fixed many bugs in the level. Problem was that Mace can't retain his purple saber for two levels, on level two it would change to default Kyle blue. This is not a problem with Jedi Academy though.

Well, that was the best user made SP level I've played for Outcast...of course it's also the only user made SP level I've played for Outcast. Hehe, well I thought it was a pretty good level. You did a nice job on the atmosphere, even if it was incomplete. It seemed like some of the proportioning of the archi was off slightly (nothing major). I also think you need a warning for people prone to seizures; my eyes were hurting after the night club section (they were cool shaders though). The cutscenes were pretty good and the voice acting was okay, except for Mace's voice who I thought was very good. It was an enjoyable level. I gave it an 8.

I liked it... the voice acting was a bit off and low quality but i can't expect everyone making a map to have professional quality recording equipment

my only real complaint though would be the unused areas... like the elevator closest to the fighter that leads to a very unused section... i'm guessing that area was originally intended for something but just not used in the end

This level was just straight out awesome, the archetecture, textures and game play were all excellent. I mean if this episode was longer and had more varying enemys, you could base a whole JO expansion on it.

This was just awesome. It was a little short, but it really made up for itself with a perfectly created environment. Great story too. The only problem is performance issues may arrise for people with less than good processors/graphics cards.

I gave it a perfect 10. A must play.

It's not an awful level but I couldn't rate is super high either. It messed with my game but maybe that's on me. I could have installed this wrong. But from experience this file was just affecting my game and caused some minor issues. But besides that I still played it. I'd risk it to play a sequel. So, dispite the technical issues I'm having, I'd still download another one of these. It's a good level I probably just did something wrong. No hard feelings.
