Description

This is a small 2/4 player Jk Multiplayer level. It is set in a small rebel outpost. Originally was made for JK Arena, but my buddy BrianL stressed me to release something and thought this was great so here it is. There is a Saber and a Guns version included.

This is one of my favorite levels of all time. It was designed for the now defunct JK Arena, and it surely plays like an arena level. 1-on-1 pure action! If you play this level with your pal, it's really easy to see who's better -- no outside interference, and no place to run away like a little chicken!

For one-on-one matches, this is just plain great. It's all about speed and wit and carefully placed shots. Got a rival? You need this level.

Too much armor and health, way too hard to kill someone when they just run off to one of the side rooms and get full health. Texturing is pretty ugly IMO, and there is a level bug where you can get stuck inside a wall. Needed a little more time in the shop.

I didn't notice the wall problem, where is it exactly?

This level was really, really fun for either sabers or guns. Very fun, excellent for 1 on 1.

Brian: walk around the center building, shooting. watch for the place where the bullets don't explode. It's a clipping wall. Also, you can go UNDERNEATH the thrust shaft bottom if you really try, it's not flagged as floor.

Hey Brian sorry, but the level was actually really bad. I couldn't do any better, but i don't know how this level got level of the week award. No offense man, but the level was too small and overall i rate it a D. Next time add some secrets or traps. also you need to make it bigger. cya guys

This level was given a 3 simply because I had no other reason for giving it anything higher. Here is why:

Guns Version: Basically you load up w/ the Armor Vest, thrust up top, grab the Rail Det and work your way around the middle rock area either from above or below trying to score a kill. I would've moved the armor vest to the middle and used a Concussion Rifle instead of a Rail Det- anyone who goes for the AV during a gunfight will be an easy target, and the CR tends to make for far more interesting duels than a Rail Det.

Sabers Version: I came into this saying "please say he took the middle area out and got rid of the armor vests..." and the very second I spawned and saw the armor vest to my left and the huge rock area in the middle I immediately exited JK and deleted this level from my computer. The middle area completely ruins the entire purpose of a sabers version of this level, had it not been there this level would've been absolutely perfect for sabering! The armor vests COMPLETELY ruin any sort of duel you have going, because any saberist with any type of rational thought going through his head will run for the vest, health, and bacta the second he is hit (they aren't out of the way from the duelling area making it completely innapropriate to go for them) to save his life. I still can't believe Jepman didn't realize that placing a giant rock block in the center of a duelling arena wouldn't ruin gameplay. If you're a warping saberist, this level is basically worthless to you because you will have no room to move, if you're a non-warping saberist then this level is even more pointless, because not only will you and your opponent have nowhere to move, there will also be no mistakes in fighting style and therefore no opportunities for a hit not involving them coming up the thrust shafts or them coming around a corner after you. You may as well go ahead and play any other guns level not intended for sabers, as the area of this level is so cramped the duels that you will have in here will have absolutely NO reflection on skill whatsoever.

Sorry for going off like this Jep, I just saw this as Level of the Week and offered the opinion of someone who has done absolutely everything there has to do in JK; constructive criticism, nothing more, nothing less. Bro, you should seriously make some changes and re-release this level, I guarentee that it'll please a lot of people and become massively popular.

Well if you gguys didnt really like this version, because of size, or that thing in the middle, you can check out my

Head-On Arena level : http://www.massassi.net/levels/files/963.shtml

It is a later version of this level, with nothing in the middle, better architecture, and a bigger place. I think the weapon placement is better also!

Check it out!
