Current State of Jedi Knight Map Editing Programs - Brian @ 12:14 PM
This question comes up on the discord every so often. Thanks to @Stormtrooper for this summary:

There's a few of them bouncing around, all more or less are forks of the original JED editor.

SED is the most recent one. It ported and modernized the codebase, added support for Infernal Machine, and implemented a number of qol updates, improvements, and bug fixes - https://github.com/smlu/SED.

There's NJED, which has a bunch of improvements over JED, It's been a couple years since it had any new releases, but still viable - https://github.com/JKBoBoFett/NJED

Then there's ZED which is kind of the same story, JED but improved. That project may have died along with the jkhub, but Massassi has a download link for it - https://www.massassi.net/programs/#zed-level-editor-based-on-jed

NED is an editor associated with Smith, an engine which attempts to emulate Sith engine titles. There is a small download link for NED on the Smith page but it's easy to miss - https://smith.bah.wtf/NED.zip
