The following domain name will now act as a forwarder to the Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 lobbies including Nar Shaddaa of the MSN Gaming Zone so you do not have to remember the url to get directly to the game rooms. Zone.com still hosts the game even though it is no longer supported by the site and it won't show up on the CD-rom games list. The domain will remain as a forwarder until it expires after 6 months.

For anyone who has been trying to access the JK Editing Hub lately at Hellraiser's homepage, the site has returned, but is now being hosted by Massassi. It's new address is http://jkhub.massassi.net/.

The Admiral's Command Chamber (also known to us as "TACC") is undergoing a site redesign. You can expect some more activity from both of these sites as they bring back some much needed vigor to the Jedi Knight series community! Stay tuned for further progress and updates.

Description: Utilize 30 additional lightsaber hilts in SP and MP with varied hum, on, and off sounds. Another feature I threw in was having the Luke, Desann, and Anakin (if you have him) NPCs/bots use their correct sabers. The hilts show up in the SP and MP menus now, and you can also select a red blade in the SP menu in this version.

Description: This mod improves the standard sabers both graphically and audio-wise. In SP, all projectiles cast dynamic color glow too (as long as it's enabled). New in this release is a better saber core graphic and color alterations to more closely match the predefined saber trail colors, which I noticed makes the sabers look very Episode II-ish now. Also, I varied the saber hum, on, and off sounds for all the normal saber hilts since it's boring when everyone's sabers sound the same. I included the better invulnerability respawn and Ysalimiri shell thingies from SBX-JK2 sabers since I forgot them before. Last but not least, here's a fun new feature: when you throw your saber, it still spins on the way back, SBX style. However, this does not work for double-bladed sabers when you've turned off one blade, strangely. In SP, the saber stops having a trail on the way back too, whereas it's fine in MP. Oh yeah, no saber spin sound on the way back either. Oh well, it's still cool though :>

Description: This is a trailer to a sequel of a movie called Burning Leaves. Burning Leaves was an english assignment. I bet my teacher that two kids making a documentary about the 'art of burning leaves' couldn't get their film in theaters. So my friend and I made a film about burning leaves, called up person to person to person, until we got to the major and minor film companies. They all said no. So as a joke we made this trailer to a film that will never be finished. It is supposed to be goofy and silly.... I don't really run like that and act like that. I hope you enjoy watching this as much as we did filming it.

Due to this level exceeding standard engine limitations, a patch is included with this download. It is the JK Enhancement Patch. It simply changes the number of visible sectors JK can process at once. This means JK can run levels that are far more detailed than traditional "Old Skool" levels without any graphical errors. Installing this patch is highly recommended.

Description: Here is my second edition of my vision of Midgar. Whilst evidently faithful to the game in a great many ways, it does have a personal touch, not only for better gameplay but also due to mapping restrictions. Notceable improvements (As I'm sure people will be glad to know) is the FPS, on most systems shouldn't drop below 30 in 95% of places, there's two new areas, and the battle square duel map is included. New assets include a ladder match in the battle square, a new vehicle, the chocobo and the masamune, (Sephiroth's Sword) Additionally, the whole map has even been rebuilt from scratch, improving aspects such as the slum area, the trains e.t.c. FFA arena suitable for the maximum number of people.

Description: This is a skin of a certain type of Sith Mages I'm writing about whom are devoted in mad fanaticism to the Snake. Non-official in the Star Wars Expanded Universe. The eyes on two of the skins are that of a Snake's, and the second two are a glowing red. As well, there are two with the ceremonial paint, and two without. And don't go lecturing me on the Inverted Pentacle in the comments section, please.

PS: And the Sith, though not the Dark Jedi, knew their own style of magic beyond mere use of the Force. I hope you like the skins. Please leave constructive reviews/comments, even if they are critical of the skin.

Description: "Life is not black and white, but shades of gray..."

This is the premise behind my small, 8-player Sabers Deathmatch. I made this level in a very short ammount of time, not as a showcase of talent, but as an artistically unique level which could be quickly downloaded on dial-up, and did not require a great deal of complexity. As simple as this level is, I hope people find enjoyment in its straightforward gameplay and creative symbolism.

Cazor sends word about some changes to his Matrix Mod, The Matrix Unplugged:
We're dropping Jedi Academy because, quite honestly, no one seriously mods it anymore. Its impossible to find coders/animators to be dediacated enough to such a large project. So... long story short, We're making TMU into its own game using a modified Quake engine, of which we have the full source to and can fully edit every part. Don't let that scare you, you'll all be pleasantly suprised, I hope.

Dedicated Jedi Knight Server - DSettahr @ 12:08 PM
NarShaddaa.net now has it's very own Dedicated Jedi Knight Server. It can be accessed at jk.servegame.com. Maps will rotate every 100 Kills or 45 Minutes, and the server will be up 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
