Trilogy Re-Release -

This three-tape set contains the "Special Edition" versions of Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. There is also a 10-minute featurette on the making of the next film in the series, Episode II, which is scheduled to arrive in theaters in the summer of 2002.

While I'm not entirely sure what a "homie-g" is, I do know that Boba Fett has recently sent in a link to a Star Wars Gangsta Rap music video. It's a pretty funny video, except for the abrupt ending, so I recommend you check it out.

It's a sad day for Star Wars fans. Sir Alec Guinness, the man who played the original Obi-Wan Kenobi, has died. He was 86 years old. You can read an article about it here.

New Rbots -
Ahh, the juiciest news we've gotten in a while.
Rbots alpha version 0.12 has now been released for download and testing. Rbots is a project to create a 'bot' for Jedi Knight. A bot is a computer controlled player for multiplayer games. It should react and play just like a human player - it has health, shields, limited ammo & weapons and when it dies it will 'respawn' to allow the game to continue. Multiple bots will battle amongst themselves as well as any number of human players.Be sure to stop by the Raynar's Workshop for more info, or the Rbots home page for download and installation instructions.
New features include: Bot now reacts to Force Blinding & Persuasion, Improved decision making when faced with intersecting routes, Improved targeting routines - no longer chooses the first thing in view - now also will choose closest target or most direct target, and Integrated uni string support to make implementing Rbots in other levels easier
This will be the last release for quite some time as the code is to be rewritten completely from scratch to optimize it.

Several new screenshots of new multiplayer levels found in the AlieNations Modification, along with a new poll - "Are you looking forward to the AlieNations Modification?" Also, Volume I of The Fuk'ilat Chronicles has been released, a story about the bloody war and the political manipulations between the Nibusee and Nedereal as they vied for absolute power over Fuk'ilat.
