New Jedi Outcast Single-Player Level: The Emperor's Courthouse -

First Map : House of Madness Second Map : The Emperor's Villa Third Map : The Emperor's Courthouse
I took a lot of time to do nice scripting for this stage. There are many comments from my last map and other people's maps including the following.
1) Some people don't like ladder fighting maps. This isn't a ladder but there is definately a lot of fighting.
2) People want realism. Star Wars is not realistic so no, my map is not realistic - to the movie storyline yes.
3) I used proper sky this time round.
4) A lot of people found my last map too hard. This one isn't going to be easier. See difficulty notes (in readme) if you cannot finish the map.
Storyline :

After visiting the Emperor's Villa on Endor, Kyle found various notes indicating some of the Emperor's secret locations around the universe. The Rebel Alliance has tracked the Emperor's ship to a fairly large courthouse on the planet of Bakura. Kyle and a small force of Rebel soldiers are on there way to locate the Emperor and seek out his devious plans...

Description: This is my second map. My first map was the sp_HouseOfMadness map. A few people said that my last map was too small and had no storyline. This map is quite a lot bigger and it now has a storyline (see below).

Jedi Knight Qui-Zan Buuzza left recently on a mission to source out the Emperor's Secret Villa on the planet Endor. Word was received from him that the Emperor had a data disc with the new Death Star's security plans. We lost transmission with him and have not heard from him since.
The republic are now sending in Kyle Katarn to locate this data disc and to rescue the jedi.
Even now, Kyle is on his way to the heavily guarded Villa.
Rumour has it that the Emperor has trained an elite group of sith warriors to be his personal bodyguards.

This is my first actual map, not just that I've published but actually created. It was my first time with JKRadient too, so I had to figure out how to do things as I went, which is also why it took so long to complete. So if it seems a little amateur in places, you know why :)

Description: After spending the night in the impromptu encampment erected by the now long-gone brigands, Tahben has made his way into an underground passage that is believed to lead into the City of Belport. He must find his way into the City of his childhood and aid in the defense of the City form the OrcishSiege. He also remembers that an old friend of his Father, Phillimus Arabedal, owns a Tavern somewhere in the Western Quarter of the city. He may perhaps have some knowledge of the whereabouts of the detachment of Xanthus soldiers who are still missing, or perhaps even the Hall of Mages, whose whereabouts are known by very few. Tahben's father was one of these few, but alas he commanded the missing expeditionary force in question.

Intrigued, you gaze down into the mesmerizing muck, and just as your mind drifts into nothingness, you hear a distant battle cry followed by the ignition of a lightsaber. Prepare to die.
Acid Storage Facility 2 is my first map for Jedi Outcast. It is the sequel to my first map for Jedi Knight. I'd worked on it off and on for a few months, and finally decided to scrap it since it just wasn't going where I wanted it to. With enough pushing from Takimoto, I was finally persuaded to finish the project, and I'm glad I did. A special thanks goes out to the people who helped me complete this map: Takimoto, JM, Dethlord, and Gonkish. I hope everyone enjoys the map!
[Editor's Note: This map rocks. I've been priviledged to see it progress through beta stages in Q3 to the awesome final product. It even has it's own custom music made by Dethlord. Get it now, and read the rest while it downloads.]

-backstab and lunge belong to 2 handed blue
-"new" jump saber slash and hop back attack for one handed yellow
-special attacks cannot be executed immediately after one another
-special attacks do not need enemies "in sight" or directly behind
-new stagger effect when blocking a saber strike
-saber defense arc smaller, no deflecting shots from behind
-1 second buffer between each roll
-dismember automatically on

-health kits and bacta increase health over time instead of instant
-force heal causes you to kneel while healing
-force speed now works like in the movies allowing you to move at blinding speed briefly

Lately I've noticed a couple of submitted levels/mods where the author asked us to post it as soon as we got it, or to give priority to it for some reason. Please don't ask for special treatment when you submit material; we always try to post levels or mods in the order they're received to be fair to everyone.

Description: Following the defeat at the Tower of Rotengarde, the unknown forces of Darkness have spread unchecked across the land. The Council of Three recently summoned Tahben of Belport, a former Halberdier who achieved distinction for courage and valour at the Battle of the Tower, to its headquarters.
Thus, Tahben's quest now lies before him. He is to return to the City of his youth, Belport, and report on the status of the city and the whereabouts of the detachment of garrisoned Xanthus Knights, led by Tahben's very father, Rohlben.
