Description: V1.1 adds 2 new bots and fixes one very minor bug: Dark_Mega_ZZTer had a orange saber. It was SUPPOSED to be red. Well, I like Jedi Master mode, so I didn't get to see other sabers much ;). _Link007 is a bot representation of my brother. I asked him what he would have it say and I put it in there. PerfectSniper always aims perfectly, so if you aren't moving he will always hit you. His favorite weapon is the Disruptor Rifle, although I don't think bots use the secondary fire :(. I added a list similar to the one in JO's readme.txt to showcase the bot stats. I am very pleased that v1.0 was received so well... I will go on to make a weapon/force tweak next (details buried in readme). Have fun!

Story behind the level: During the time when Desann was invading the Jedi academy he became aware of a small temple called Equinoxis not far from the Jedi academy in the hills, they were said to have mysterious water that gave the power of the force. Desann sent some troops and some miners up to see this eledged place and pump the water. The storm troopers that went up to that hill were never heard from again, the strong power of force in that had driven them all mad. Each one was blood thirsty and was ready to kill any one that came in…

Brian sends word that a new version of GTKRadiant (1.2.9) is now available over at QeRadiant.com. According to the folks at QeRadiant.com, they have added support for Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force, and fixed several editor bugs and editing media issues. Sounds great, so go check it out!

Hello everyone. I'm MaDaVentor. Though many of you already know me, I'd like to introduce myself as the newest level/news poster here at Massassi. I will be helping to ensure that the site stays up to date with all the latest news tidbits and I hope to help keep the levels system functioning at a reasonable pace. I should be making my first real post today, after school, and hopefully all will go well. Thanks!

Well, a few weeks ago we had a backlog of over 100 MB of files to be posted, and thanks to ThreeDee, oSiRiS, mscbuck and Skimpy, we got caught up.

But now there are over 220 MB of files waiting to be posted. I've already hired another file poster tonight--although he won't be able to post any until tomorrow--and I'm trying to find more. I hope you all can appreciate that I can't hire just anyone. With the position comes a lot of power, and I have to be able to trust the people I hire, which means I need to know them at least a little.

To top it all off, the job is not a fun one. Lots of files are submitted incorrectly, which means the submitter has basically wasted your time. It's a time-consuming and largely thankless job. Maybe I shouldn't make it sound too bad, but what I don't want are people who want a little fame taking the job, then deciding it takes too much time, and just not doing it anymore. That ends up wasting my time going through the process of hiring them, only to have to find another replacement. And remember of course, it's a volunteer job; all of Massassi is run by volunteers. The only people who make any money off Massassi are our host, and I don't even know if they are making any or not.

So, if you've read all that and still want to help, e-mail staff@massassi.net with "File Posting Application" in the subject. I cannot guarantee I will hire you, because as I said, I can't hire just anyone. I will try to respond to all the applications, but don't expect a quick reply, because I'm backlogged enough already. Thanks for your patience.

I would just like to point out a couple of things in response to recent events surrounding Yoda's House: Special Edition.

1. If you have an issue with a level or want to give some feedback, do not send it to the person who posted the level. Either use the level comment system, or e-mail the level's author.
2. If your level was removed, do not e-mail a level poster about it. Instead, send your question either to a specific Massassi administrator (not level poster) or to the staff at staff@massassi.net. Removing a level is a decision made by the admins, not the level posters.

Description: Adds 3 bots to JO. Two are Light Side and Dark Side versions of... me! I can't play on the 'net, because of a slow modem, but this is the next best thing to playing me). The other bot is "Uber Newbie!” All 3 bots talk a bit more than the other regular JO bots, and have many more things to say. This is my first mod for JO, and my first submission to Massassi. I'm just "getting my feet wet" with this. Unlike other first-time submitters, I will ask you to please NOT be lenient in ranking this. I want to know if my mod is cool, if it stinks, what is wrong with it, and what I can do to fix it. Just don't say, 'It doesn't do anything' or something like that Thank you, and have fun!

Description: The cult of Seljuk Assassins have built a training arena for their Force-empowered warriors. A dark and foreboding arena, with two levels and lights the color of blood. In the middle sits a deep pit where victims of the "Grip" are held and released falling helplessly to their doom. Basically a simple duel arena where lightsabers are a shining contrast to the encroaching darkness.

An update to mscbucks earlier report on E3 coverage of Jedi Outcast for GameCube and Xbox. LucasArts at the Jedi Outcast website (here) posted news of a press release concerning this.

Description: There were other saber-pits on Massassi but none were very pit-like, so I made this in about 2 hours. It would be called Saber Pit, but that name was taken. I couldn't think of any other name, so I decided this would be an oasis clone. No plot, just a hole in the ground with violent people in it. Is best with 4 people.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the chat room has moved. You can access it at irc.holonet.org port 6667, on channel #massassi, or you can use the java applet by clicking on the 'Chat' link on the menu.

As I was going through the levels account deleting all the irrelevant e-mails and Klez viruses, I noticed a few e-mails that were sent to a specific level poster. I'd just like to ask authors not to do that, unless otherwise told. Sometimes, some of us aren't able to access our e-mail accounts, so if a message is sent to me or one of the other level posters while our computers are down, we can't post it. Just a reminder to send all levels/mods to levels@massassi.net.

While looking around at GameSpot, I came across their E3 coverage of Jedi Outcast for the Xbox and Gamecube. You can check it out right here for the Xbox version, and here for the GameCube version.

While going through some old e-mail I found this one about JediOutcastMaps.com. I'm not sure if we posted it or not, so just to be sure, here it is. JediOutcastMaps.com is a site full of JK2 maps and some other files too, so check it out.
