Hey folks. First off, I've decided to raise the file size limit to 50 KB. In the six years since we started, high-speed access has become more widespread, and many JPEG logos start to look blocky at 30 KB. 50 should make it easier on authors, and still should download pretty quickly.

Second, I've had to remove some logos that were posted due to quality issues. The authors have been e-mailed. I'll be posting more soon. Keep them coming!
IGN Republic Commando Progress Report - DSettahr @ 6:23 AM
IGN has posted a progress report for the upcoming Star Wars FPS, Republic Commando. News and updates about the game have been few and far inbetween lately, but as the March 1st release date draws closer we should be hearing more. The preview states that the gameplay is similar to Halo 2, but with the addition of Squad tactics and commands similar to those found in the Rainbow 6 series of games.     2004 Holiday Logo Contest Open! - blujay @ 8:04 PM
    *cough* Gee, it's kinda dusty in here. Haven't used this in a while. *ahem* Is this thing on? Hey, folks. Remember me? Eh, probably not. But just in case you do...guess what? It's that time of year again! It's time for the sixth annual Massassi Holiday Logo Contest! Can you believe that we've been doing this for six years?! I can't. Really. Seriously. Unbelievable.

    Well, anyway, last year we had 89 entries, the second-highest total. First year (1999) was 42, second year was 108, then it dropped down to 76, then 57 in 2002, and back up to 89 in 2003 (last year, silly). Hey, let's set a new record, eh? mscbuck and I anxiously—ok, maybe not that anxiously—await your logos!

    FTP Server Still In-accessable - DSettahr @ 4:39 PM
    Unfortunely, I am still unable to access the file server via FTP, which means I cannot upload and post levels. We are trying to contact Recong Gamer to get the situation resolved as quickly as possible. If you can find temprorary alternate hosting for your files, feel free to email me a link and I will post a news item for it.

    Lucas Arts is reporting that Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords has gone gold for the Xbox. The game will be available in stores on December 6th, and a February 2005 release for PC's is planned. For more information, be sure to check out the official website.

    The second demo for the Dark Forces Total Conversion for Jedi Academy has been released! This demo contains playable versions of the first three levels from Dark Forces, "The Secret Base," "After the Massacre" and "The Subterranean Hideout."     Hell Raiser has emailed us to let everyone know that he is starting work on the Dragonball Z: The Destruction is Real Mod for JK again.

I (Hell Raiser/Jon) have decided to pick up where I left off and see just how far I can push JK. You all can consider this the "official" announcement regarding the issue. =)
