The Duck's Lair has quacked out some updates to Jedi Knight. It seems that Omnesolis, top duck at The Duck's Lair, has updated the Jedi Knight Tweaks section. Head on over and quack down some great information!
AlieNations Updates - darkjedi86 @ 8:07 PM
Elyas, the webmaster of Elyas's Domain, has updated AlieNations, a wonderful looking mod for Jedi Knight. The page has great screenshots of progress for the mod, and what I've seen so far looks great. But don't take my word for it! Head on over to AlieNations and see for yourself!

2 New Reviews - Brian @ 4:43 PM
Well, when I installed the new news script, I forgot to modify the review system to mesh with it. Because of this, two reviews were posted but never got announced on the correct day. So here they are: Jedi Tower and Frigate Mayhem.
New Jedi Knight Multiplayer Level Review: Infernal DM - Reviews @ 4:40 PM
The Massassi Temple Review Site has just posted a new review of Infernal DM. The level was created by HothRebel.
Out of Town - darkjedi86 @ 3:56 PM
Well, as the headline implies, I am going out of town. I'll be going with my grandmother up to my cousin's High School graduation, and then I should be staying with her for another week. All in all, I should be gone for 9 days or so. I'll still try to keep up with news and Massassi, but I will be seriously slacking. See you in a few days!
Hello - Brandon @ 8:33 AM
As Brian mentioned, I have been handling all the mats since the new mat section was launched in mid April. Since then the mat section has grown to 78 mats in its database. Some of the big contributing authors have been Tee and more recently Kevinator. I'd like to thank these authors for the mats they have sent in and ask anyone else to please send in any mats they have or make. Just follow the instructions here and you'll be on your way!
Mats - Brian @ 12:36 AM
A bunch of new textures have been added to our mats section. Big thanks to those people who submit their textures. If you are the artist behind a custom texture or texture pack, please submit! We're really looking to get this section up and running strongly.

Also a big thanks to Brandon who's been handling the mat section since it's reopening. He's going to be showing up a bit on the news as well, so look for it.
JK Beta Testing Group - Brian @ 12:34 AM
After a pretty long period of down time, the Jedi Knight Beta Testing Group is back online. Their design kicks, and it looks like they've finally got an active webmaster to run the show.

This is good for level authors because you can now get your level/mod beta tested by a wide variety of people and computers. I strongly suggest you take advantage of their services.

Also, they're looking for 10 very active beta testers, so if you're interested, hit their page and apply.

New Jedi Knight Mod: Improved Saber Colors - Kedri @ 3:03 PM
File: Improved Saber Colors
Author: jkguy_009
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: Improves all of the lightsaber colors. Instead of a fuzzy stick, you get a somewhat realistic lightsaber. This patch applies to ALL original sabers, and a 3D card is NOT required.
New Jedi Knight Multiplayer Level: Jedi Tower - Kedri @ 2:59 PM
File: Jedi Tower
Author: Woody
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: This is a really big room with a tower up the center. Big guns and lots of ammo. I think it will be really fun with a lot of players.
New Jedi Knight Mod: Scream - Kedri @ 2:48 PM
File: Scream
Author: Vindicare
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: This patch replaces Kyle with Scream from the Scream trilogy of films. Scream flips and has a specialised version of Force Persuasion which stays on until mana is depleted. Enjoy!
New MotS KFY Level: Red Manor KFY - Kedri @ 2:41 PM
File: Red Manor KFY

New Jedi Knight Multiplayer Level: Frigate Mayhem - Kedri @ 1:49 PM
File: Frigate Mayhem
Author: Xyn-Jian
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: A Nebulon B Frigate hangar bay and the surrounding chambers. Fight among stationed fighters, mess up the locker room and wreak havoc into the briefing room, or have a saber duel on the main deck. There's plenty of sniping spots for everybody. :) Best for 4-8 players, NF or FF, mixed guns/sabers. All ship 3DOs are from GoZ Studios.
New Jedi Knight Multiplayer Level: Calling the Corners - Sabers Version - Kedri @ 1:31 PM
File: Calling the Corners - Sabers Version
Author: SR_Sorcerer_Vinny
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: Calling the Corners is a small sabers level designed for no more than four players. I would also recommend playing it with No Force, but Full Force in this level might be interesting. It is fast-paced and the lighting will keep saberists on their toes. Enjoy.
New Jedi Knight Multiplayer Level: Hoth Defense Station - Kedri @ 1:22 PM
File: Hoth Defense Station
Author: Baharroth
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: This is a small saber level for 2-4 Players. The very new thing is the snow, which is falling down on this glorious place.

The top floor is a rectangular room with the Sith Priest's grave in the middle. This level is intended for 2-6 players.
New Jedi Knight Multiplayer Level: Death Edge - Kedri @ 11:43 AM
File: Death Edge

Two New Tutorials Added - Kedri @ 10:43 AM
Keeping myself occupied whilst the level posting script is polished up, I've posted a pair of tutorials that came our way from the modestly-named JEDMaster. The first is a great tutorial on creating ribbed domes. Here's a small screenshot of the finished product to pique your curiosity. Pretty! The second one isn't really a tutorial so much as an alternative technique for sloping corners in your levels. To the seasoned editors out there it may seem like a no-brainer, but you never know who may find it an invaluable tip. Thanks to JEDMaster for sending his stuff in.
Dark Forces Timeline - darkjedi86 @ 10:32 AM
This was e-mailed to us a while back, but through my stupidity I forgot to post it. It seems that a fellow by the name of Lou Graziani has constructed a timeline of the events in Dark Forces and its characters. This must have taken a lot of time and patience, so go pay this wonderful history a well-deserved visit.
New News Script - Brian @ 9:31 AM
I have just implemented a new news script on Massassi. Because of this, you may see some errors on the main page. I am in the process of working out all the final bugs, but that can't be done without going live and seeing what happens. So here it is!
