New Site For TMU - DSettahr @ 9:11 PM
The website for "The Matrix Unplugged" mod for Jedi Academy has moved to a new location.
Hey guys. Just wanted to alert you all to the fact that The Matrix Unplugged has encountered technical difficulties with its current site, and is being moved to www.tmunplugged.net. I'm sending this out because the majority of our fans on the forums don't know what happened to our mod. I'm pleased to announce that it's still going strong, and the new site should be completed soon. :)

File Posters, Etc. - Brian @ 1:23 PM
If you are a file poster, and would like to continue being one, please send me an email. I don't know who all has access, and I'm going to change the passwords shortly, so I need to know who out there will need the new ones. Also, since the files server has been down so long, doubtless there are dozens of files waiting to be posted, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

We recently secured our new dedicated server. We will be slowly moving the site over the next month or two. First I have to get everything configured. Anyway, when the dedicated server is up and running, and the site is back to normal, we will be again recruiting staff members and file posters. At that time, we will put out an announcement, so if you send me an email now, it won't do much good!
Fileserver is back... for now - Cool Matty @ 8:23 AM
The Massassi Fileserver seems to have worked its own bugs out, and has been up for a full 12 hours now, so I am going to make an assumption that everything is working again. As previously said, if the site does go down, the backup is still available. I'll leave the backup server running for about three more days, until I am absolutely sure the main server is working fine. Until then, feel free to use either server (perferably the main since it is easier, and faster).

The backup server can still be found here. Thanks for your patience.

This is just a reminder that our File Server is still down. In the meantime, feel free to continue using the Backup Server, which Cool Matty has graciously provided for us. Also, please keep these rules in mind when using the Backup Server:

  • Only 2 connections per computer/IP - Additional Connections will be denied

  • Remember, this server is for everyone. Don't abuse it.

The Backup Server is up to date, and contains every level and mod that is listed in our database.
New Republic Commando Preview - DSettahr @ 9:25 AM
Actiontrip has posted a new Republic Commando preview. The article contains new screenshots, as well as new information about Commando's gameplay.
Players are permitted to pack only two weapons at a time, swapping them with other weapons lying on the ground whenever they like. We also have to point out that the development team fitted in an admirable assortment of Star Wars-flavored firearms. Your character will be able to advance through the game wielding weapons like the DC-17m, DC-15s Blaster Pistol, Wookie bowcaster, and a whole bunch of enemy weaponry to boot, such as the Trandoshan Slaver Shotgun, Geonosian Elite Beam Weapon, and more. Commando units are also equipped with handy switchblade slotted on their left wrist, allowing them to perform deadly melee attacks should they run out of ammo.
