Master_tee (not the Tee of JK editing we all know) let us know about a new site, The Outcast. On their front page right now they have a link to screenshots of Battleground Jedi for JK2, and links to videos of JK2 SP and MP gameplay from a German TV show. I don't know how those two news items slipped past us, but I'm glad someone caught them.

Rain and Snow Tutorial Updated - Kedri @ 5:33 AM
Zagibu's Rain and Snow tutorial has been updated with new files that have been optimized for multiplayer levels. The particlestream10.cog now uses the fireprojectile() verb instead of creatething(), which results in better net performance. That means, no more lag due to rain or snow.

New Jedi Knight Multiplayer Level: Three Rooms - Skimpy @ 10:06 PM
File: Three Rooms
Author: Thr33 Eleven
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: ‘Three Rooms’ is a 2-4 person, no force gunning level with lots of concussion rifles, rail detonators, and of course, sequencers. There is a three-story building with one room on each level--hence the name, Three Rooms. There are no secrets, so don't waste your time looking for them. It doesn't hurt if you fall so don't fret. First level I've made and actually submitted, so enjoy!

This one slipped by in the inbox. Caroline "-ViX-" Roberts sent in news about an interview with Kenn Hoekstra, the JK2 Project Administrator. In it, he answers questions about the JK2 engine, the mechanics of lightsaber combat, and how JK2's multiplayer compares to JK's multiplayer. It's a good read, so check it out.

New MotS Multiplayer Level: Jedi Master Episode 2 Multiplayer Deathmatch - Skimpy @ 4:26 PM
File: Jedi Master Episode 2 Multiplayer Deathmatch
Author: Stormie
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: This level is Jedi Master Episode 2 converted to multiplayer. I have scattered a few people around that can help you teleport to different places, just go over to them and hit space. These include some people/enemies that were in Jedi Master Episode 2 like Kyle, Jan, tusken, greedo, and a few more. It also features a puzzle to get the concussion rifle and a nice "Easter egg". I created this so I could run wild over my level with my mates having a laugh. As it's MOTS it probably won't get played over the zone, but at least that means it won't get hacked to bits.

This level is dedicated to Jamie Brice (known to most as JEDI Rex) who died in 2001. He will always be remembered.

With a cast of community frequenters, the story of Shadows of the Empire is parodied by the genius Chris Hill and others. Read Massassi Wars - Murkiness of the Empire right here.

File: Corellian Orbital Shipyards
Author: FoolsParadise
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: It is a time of renewed optimism within the Rebellion. Luke Skywalker, a young farm boy from Tattooine, has recently destroyed the Death Star during the Battle of Yavin. Seeking to retain the initiative, the Rebels have launched a series of smaller attacks aimed at disrupting the Imperial war machine. Princes Leia has dispatched a young Rebel commando to Corellia. His mission: disengage the docking clamps on a near-complete Star Destroyer, setting off a safety mechanism causing it to self destruct as it plummets into the Corellian atmosphere.
