New Jedi Knight Single Player Level: A Jedi's Discovery -
File: A Jedi's Discovery
Author: Zippy1000
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: This takes place a few years after the blockade incident on Naboo involving the Trade Federation. The Jedi Council has discovered a mysterious underground lair on the planet Dorin, the home planet of Plo Koon. Within this underground lair there are plans for a weapon with such capability that it can destroy an entire planet. If this news were to get out to the Republic, they would panic, and the result would be devastating. The council has therefore sent you, Obi-Wan Kenobi, to find the plans for this weapon and destroy them.
Authors note: I've included an Obi-Wan patch with this level. The patch is pretty important for this level, and when you save, make sure your lightsaber is not out, or else it will crash. Because of this, I put extra-effort into the level by making cutscenes with voices. And I set most enemies that shoot lasers to 1% health so you can deflect shots and kill them instantly like in the movie. I again would like to thank my brother "thejockofjazz" for doing the voice Koben Katarn.
P.S. You won't be getting a seizure from this one.

Happy Birthday to Massassi! -
I am very pleased to wish this site a happy 3rd birthday. That's right, The Massassi Temple is now 3 years old! Interested in a little bit of history? Read on...
Massassi was originally created as a site to help people learn how to edit Jedi Knight. I had been struggling very much with an early version of Jed, and good ol' Slug (formerly known as GMS_Slug) came to my rescue. After seeing numerous posts on the DarkJedi.com forums (now Code-Alliance.com) about the same things, I decided that I should write some tutorials. I built Massassi in a day or two (it had pretty much the same design we have now, if you can believe that), but it took me longer to write the first few tutorials.
Once a few tutorials were up, I asked for hosting at JediKnight.net, but was turned down. Then I asked Spart @ Jedi Nights, who quickly responded with a "yes" and set up our account. We were then located at http://www.jedinights.com/massassi/.
The site contined to grow (as you can see if you browse the old news section) with more staff members and more tutorials. Soon, we added our own message board (using WWWBoard, a threaded system), which rapidly grew to the point that we had to trim it every other day. So we opened another one (now we had an editing forum and a discussion forum).
Soon after that, we were provided our own sub-domain, and moved to: http://massassi.jedinights.com.
We then started posting author's levels, which turned out to be a feature that a *lot* of people really liked. Our hits soon surpassed that of our host, and due to some internal conflicts with Telefragged (the host of Jedi Nights), I decided to move the site to its own domain name.
Over the years, we've been graced with a great many talented staff members and visitors. We've had some great times, some troubling times, and some just plain average times. Throughout all of the "Jedi Knight is dying" threads and emails, we've proven that Jedi Knight is in fact *not* dead, proven once again by the fact that our traffic has grown steadily since the time the site was put online. And we are still growing! With new and exciting features being added often, news that's updated practically daily (okay, so we miss a day now and again), and a top notch group of administrators, this site has proven that it's got what it takes to survive. Rest assured we will be around for a long time to come.
Here's to Massassi, and here's to the wish of another great Star Wars action game!
If you have any comments on this (the order of specific details may be switched around - I can barely remember yesterday, much less 3 years ago!), feel free to leave them on this thread.

Thanks to those of you that emailed me about the problems on the EC registration. You can now register and use the EC. Just a note, this is the same system as the levels system, so if you are registered there, there is no reason to register again.

Author: EL3CTRO
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: As the sky darkens for a storm, two Jedi stand upon a rock above a burning volcano. Only one will leave alive...
This is a Multiplayer Sabres level, with a recommended amount of 4 players (but can support 16 [yikes!]). It has a main platform for dueling, which is above a pit of lava; the lava will kill you instantly if you fall. There is a room beind glass for observation of the 2 people fighting, and a camera offering a birds-eye view for watching them. To get to the room, activate the console on the platform. To get out of the room, activate the other console in the room.
This IS my first relased level, but not my first made level. So please be forgiving with your judgements. :)

Massassi Email Service Closure -
As you may or may not know, the Massassi Temple entered into an agreement with Everyone.net to provide free, web based email services to our visitors. This service worked for a little while without any problems. Then, Everyone.net changed their rules and requirements, and shortly thereafter, the service became very unstable. I have tried numerous times to contact Everyone.net support, but they do not respond. Due to the fact that the service is unreliable at best, and the fact that Everyone.net is not doing anything at all to try to remedy the situation, we are no longer able to support or advertise this service.
The DNS records and whatnot will not change, so if the service is accessible to you currently, it will probably stay that way for a while (at: http://mail.massassi.com). However, if you've read all the problem reports that I've read, you would probably agre that it's in your best interests to find another email service.
You can read all about it on this page.
