Rbots v0.23 for MotS Released -
Our hosted site, Rbots, has released version 0.23 of their mod for MotS. The JK version has been delayed because of some serious problems. Anyway, here are a few of the new features:

- Bothan Species Announced: The Star Wars: Galaxies site posted the seventh species to be in the game, Bothans. A thread was started on the Developer's Forum discussing why the Bothans look like they do, and was responded to by Haden Blackman, the content supervisor.

Description: This patch modifies almost everything in the game and makes it feel and play like a whole new game. This mod lets you play the original 21 missions with all new enemies and weapons. The enemies are all transformed into terrorists complete with bullet-firing, full automatic weapons complete with realistic sounds new .KEYs and better AI. Your arsenal consists of: Double Hk USPs (replace fists; only for SP) Hk USP SD, Hk MP5A3, frag grenades, Colt M4 Carbine, Hk MP5 SD3, Hk MSG90 Sniper Rifle w/working scope, C4 plastic explosives, and the Hk 21E heavy machine gun (all complete with their own photorealistic textures).
The zip file contains two GOB files: one for the LEC single player levels and one for non-LEC single player levels and all Multiplayer levels. It also includes new counter-terrorism themed BMs and Cogs that make weapon powerups give you more ammo so you can unload on your enemies without having to worry about the limited ammo. This will give you a way to enjoy the original game once again but this time with a faster, more exciting feel. Leave a comment so I will know what you want to see in my next mod.

Serious Editing: Serious Sam! -
I am very pleased to announce the release of Serious Editing, a Massassi, if you will, for a new game called Serious Sam. The game is a first person shooter developed by a Croatian company named Croteam. I am very excited about this game, and this new site. When I started the site, I had no idea it would turn out like it did. I would like to thank all of you for visiting. I will post more interesting information on the 27th, but if you're interested, check out this page, which is our archive of the very first news post on this site (scroll all the way to the bottom). As you can see, we haven't strayed too far from our original purpose (just expanded upon it).

Description: This is a wall with a hole for shooting though and a fence for seeing through. The fence will guard you while the hole below it is in just the right height for your gun. I'll warn that I don't know how to make the fence part see-through in software mode, and I doubt there is a way, so prepare for software users to find it useless. It's good for defense, especially in a CTF level, for instance.

This is the background to my upcoming trilogy of SP episodes, where you play a stromtrooper, meeting his destiny. At the start, other stormtroopers will aid you, but an unforeseen event changes all this. The first episode of the trilogy has 3 levels in it, introducing that first fateful mission.
